We got 1 fried fish fillet, the shrimp with mashed potatoes and honey biscuits cuz that was pretty much all the sides left. I was extremely disappointed with the amount and size of shrimp. They were like extra small shrimp and for the price you would think they’d at least be med sized. they were good I just felt ripped off. Especially because you have to pay extra for sides it’s not a meal even though it says meals on the menu. The mashed potatoes weren’t good either, they tasted like boxed mashed potatoes.The fried fish was a nice size and was amazing and I don’t really like fish fillets so that says a lot. The honey biscuits were out of this world I would give those alone 5 stars.

The whole vibe of the port was everything the chicken was so good and omg the Chicken batter and season were so good to remind me of the southern fried chicken I miss at home. And must try the honey biscuits they are so good you will bring some home lol. This is a hiding spot you will think it’s just a small sode spot but best food on South Padre Island I have tried a lot of them and didn’t like the fishy Taste of everything.

Great location since it’s on the pier, close to the lighthouse and dolphin watch too. But food is below average. We took the fried dark chicken and fish smell was coming out of it because they fried the chicken on the same oil.

The chicken is very good, the smashed potatoes is a must! Prices are ok and the staff is very good. They have an area for eating which is very nice. They have some pirates hanging from the ceiling and stuff. 100% recommend!

Cheap, fried chicken and fish, what else can you ask for. This place is between the Black Dragon Cruise office and the bait and tackle shop. If you’re on the pier fishing and don’t catch anything, come eat here.

The food was amazing! Got the chicken strips family meal! The size of strips was very pleasing and the honey butter biscuits were awesome! Everything was made fresh the lady at the window could have been nicer. I asked for more ketchup and she was very rude.

6:30pm Thursday 7/28/22. The gal working there is super rude. She’s also not customer ortiented and clearly doesn’t understand how a business is supposed to work. She opened the window to take our order. I ordered 6 boneless bites, a boudain ball and a 3 piece chicken. She then rudely exclaimed that “no chicken for 25 more minutes”. So then I asked her about the 6 piece boneless bites and she said they aren’t ready for 25 minutes. So it’s dinner time and she has no chicken available at all. No sign on the window indicating this and she even proceeded to take our order knowing that she didn’t have any chicken available.
