First time here. Had super burrito and tacos both served with warm cheese and nachos. They were both good. A small fountain drink included in combo price. Normal wait time although they were Busy both inside and at driveup. Clean tables and restrooms. Large TV inside was playing at an elevated volume, workers were nice. Recommend this place for a quick bite.

We first tried Taco John’s years ago, stopping at their location in Coralville near the U of I campus. So happy to find this new location to visit when we’re in the area.

I pulled up to the drive through and the employee said order when you’re ready. I responded with okay thank you. About 6 seconds later they yelled Hellooo sarcastically as if that 6 seconds was really holding up their day. I said forget it and left. I used to work near here and I literally ate at this location once or twice a week. I decided to treat myself since I was in the area but I won’t be back again. Obviously customer service is not on their priority list. This was not my 1st experience with bad customer service there.

Use to be my favorite take out but last night I got 2 orders of medium potato ole’s but only ordered 1 so I spent 8$ on them I shouldn’t have had to. The burritos are 50% tortillas. They use to be filled with good meat, but now they are more mini compared to the past. Almost disappointed each time I stop.

This place is amazing, I pulled into the drive-thru and was welcomed beautifully with a kind joke by an employee, it gave me a great laugh, the entire crew here was so nice and fun to talk with. To those who worked around 4:00 PM thank you for the good laugh. (I got one name, Kenwan) Because kindness. Always great food by the way!

Quick stop for a car lunch as we were traveling across Iowa. Food just a little hotter than I prefer but was still very good. Will try them again on the next trip.

Person in the drive thru got rude with me for asking to make my food a combo. Staff is unprofessional food typically is great at most Taco John’s.
