Iconic. Can’t go wrong with their salami and eggs or the brisket sandwich

Much closer and more convenient location for me then lido beach. There pastrami is a little leaner but OK. If I’m going to indulge in this meal I want it as juicy as possible. That includes some fat.

A Long Island classic – Make sure to go with the classic Hot Pastrami and Corned Beef on Rye. I suggest the fries – always delicious. The knishes are a WIN too. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here. Waitstaff is usually on-point – very rarely have any issues. Love it.

My husband & I recently dined at Ben’s in Woodbury with our daughter who has special needs. We informed our wonderful waiter, Selvin, that our daughter is very impatient, especially while waiting for food. Selvin was warm, friendly, patient & most efficient at taking our orders & serving us with very little wait time. My husband & I shared the delicious roasted turkey with cranberry sauce in a whole wheat wrap with a round potato knish & my daughter enjoyed her usual order of chicken tenders with french fries. The portions were generous. Melvin was most attentive to us & immediately refilled our water glasses, brought extra cole slaw, napkins, cookies for my daughter & to go containers after my request. Selvin is a tremendous asset to Ben’s Woodbury & made our dining experience relaxing & pleasurable!!! Highly recommend!!!

Although I don’t have a Katz Deli in my area, Bens pastrami/corned beef sandwich gets it done for me just fine. Great sandwich

For sandwiches, hot dogs and kinishes… it’s the best. PAST TENTS… I recently went there, and the hot dogs were dried out leftovers, same with the kinish… Quality & Consistency is hard to maintain every day, so I wouldn’t hold it against you… i’ll be back, hopefully this isn’t the new normal…

The tongue I bought at deli turned out to be spoiled and inedible. This is the second time this happened. Also, the kreplach were hard as rocks and filled with a white colored meat? What is this? Have been coming here for decades and no longer want to ever come back. What a shame.

Ben’s is the Best Deli in the World!! I love it so much that I drive 45 miles each way to get the best Cornbeaf sandwiches, potato salad and square kinishes! The only thing that could be better is if they decided to open another store for us out on the Island! I miss the store at Smithhaven Mall! Either way, I’ll always make it a point to get to Woodbury! They’re just the nicest and best around!

Yum! Had a pastrami sandwich here and am really glad I did. A quintessential NY Jewish Deli serving the area. The pastrami was sliced thin but piled high. Get it with the rye bread and spicy brown mustard, and don’t forget the Dr. Brown’s!
