Had seen this place in my Yelp researches but I’m not a huge fan of French food. A friend then recommended it to us and so we thought we’d give it a try. Although the food is rich (obviously knew that being it’s French food) it was really good. The restaurant is super cute. Great for a girls night, date night, family night; this ambiance is very accommodating.

Fabulous dinner in this quaint and impressive restaurant. We were a party of 4 and ordered different dishes and loved them all. We started with a “sea-cuterie” plate with delights like white sardines, caviar, salmon and more. Wine list very good with several by the glass choices. Staff were very considerate about timing dishes as they came out while being friendly and genuine. Will definitely be back!

We went here on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday. The service was fantastic, we got a lovely table right in the window for two. Delicious food, and a fantastic dessert menu.

UPDATE: My wife and I finally made it back to Epernay for dinner. Our expectations were high after having a good experience at brunch. But dinner is the real test of a restaurant like this and I’m sad to say that we were disappointed.

Lovely new French bistro, with a sleek white logo on the front window reflecting the beautiful town of Los Gatos. The Boeuf Bourguignon was slow braised to the right texture with a great balance of flavors from the beef, bacon, vegetables, and red wine—not too heavy, just right. It paired really well with the ZD Pinot on the reserve wines by the glass list. The beef tartare and salmon rillette were unassuming yet very well seasoned, great for starting off of the dinner with a glass of bubbles. The plating and presentation felt genuine, comfortable, and not pretentious.

As a lifelong Los Gatos native and business owner who’s been through both the good and bad (2008-2010) times… I wanted to call attention to two of our favorite restaurants in town.

The food is amazing! The potato soup, which was the soup of the day, was like a warm hug in a tiny tureen!

I’ve had a number of great experiences here. Los Gatos has a handful of great options, yet I keep making my way back here as well as their sister restaurant Sidecar. Their wine and champagne selection is pretty extensive and their wait staff know their stuff. Haven’t had a bad pairing yet. Definitely check these guys out on your next date night. Then go grab drinks next door at Sidecar. I think you’ll be pleased.

Over use drowning of butter/oil on Sole dish but flavorful. Mucho capers. Order it with less butter. We Added needed salt to our dishes with is a plus so we can control. Mussels need more white wine n less butter also. Mussels needed some lemon in broth. Beet salad a nice beginning.

My new favorite spot in the area. Every dish is delicious and reasonably priced. Perfect for a special dinner but not too extravagant.
