Visiting from Colorado! This Saturday breakfast before Easter tradition is usually at a different restaurant but this year we couldn’t go there. We ended up here for the first time! Some of us got here a little before 8am but they accommodated and welcomed us in anyway to sit. The food was very good! We also caved on our diet and got a death by chocolate dessert which was amazing to. They have breads, cookies, tamales and homemade tortillas for sale as well. Establishment is authentic, clean and welcoming. Employees were very attentive, friendly, professional and informative. Food was all great! I didn’t hear any complaints from the table. If we lived closer we would come back. Thank you!!

The ambiance is great , clean and decorative ! , We may be a bit bias on menu items since we are use to more traditional plates. my wife ordered Chilaquiles and they were not what she is use too but she was ok with them. She said they were more like upgraded nachos. I order a sandwich , a bit small for my liking . Over all I would say a 4.5 but no option for that l. Gave it a 4 star for pricing. Maybe next time we will try different menu items. Service was good.

Lovely sandwich shop combining bread from Barrio bakery and food from El Charro. I had a relleno sandwich on focaccia with a prickly pear mimosa. I was shocked by the amount of flavor in the vegetarian sandwich. Wonderfully charred poblano with veggies and sauce on a pillowy bread. The staff are sweet and helpful.

This place was great, good food, nice atmosphere and the bread smelled amazing. Got the burrito bowl with the chickpea chorizo and it was just spicy enough. The picture is of it half ate because it was so good! Recommended!

Loved the cute ambiance and layout. They sure pack a lot of character into a small location. The food was very good, as you’d expect from a Charro location. We took advantage of the “kids eat free” promotion (which ends soon!). The bakery items were ok to good. Overall we’d definitely come back, but it would probably be just with the wife and I. The kids were not super impressed.

Cozy spot and deliciously executed food. I had the salsa sampler, the orange salsa made me question why I didn’t try that sooner. I had the avocado toast for a couple reasons- I hadn’t had it, I wanted to try the bread, I was decidedly full from all of the other foods I had up to that point. We bought tortillas and sauce to bring home. Yes, their tortillas are that different from store bought that it was worth suitcase space/care.

Laid back cafe with simple menu options. We got the barria and carne asada burritos. The burritos were dense but on the smaller side, with just rice, beans, and meat. The salsa that came with chips was really delicious and spicy. The cafe was also understaffed, many tables were empty but with dirty dishes from previous guests that had not yet been bussed. Overall the food was okay, but unlikely to visit again.

Such a great place to get quality food. Prices are great and quantity is more than enough. I would eat here daily if I lived near by.

Fantastic food in Tucson. We came for breakfast and had a great meal. The focaccia french toast was some of the best I’ve ever had and the chilaquiles were awesome. Service was friendly, great, and quick. Good coffee as well.

Woah, this place was good! The fried chicken sandwich was so delicious and the vegetarian sandwich (I forget what it was called…) was SUPER fresh. The bread was so good! I liked the vegetarian sandwich better to be honest! This place is an awesome addition to the Charro restaurants!
