Living Grove on Vine Street is probably one of the nicest and posh restaurant we went to in California. My daughter is a huge fan of Top Chef and had planned on visiting this restaurant because Chef Marcel Vigneron from season one is there. She actually called ahead that they before just to see if he would come out and say hi while we had lunch. The person on the phone assured us that he would and he did. I don’t know much about the show other than Tom Collichio from New Jersey is on it. The chef was very sweet and even took a few pictures with us.

This is a rooftop restaurant adjacent to a bar. The service was phenomenal. Staff who seemed genuinely happy to bring you quality service. The ambiance is very relaxed but expresses itself in subtle luxury. Finally the food is very good. I ordered the duck confit with the aster meatballs. I enjoyed it thoroughly. My date ordered one of the pastas and the broccolini and she was happy as well. A very great date night.

I absolutely adore this spot. The vibes are immaculate and it makes for the perfect dinner spot. Our server Seth was lovely and truly so accommodating with dietary needs, fielding recipe questions and offering suggestions and substitutions left and right. I’m so appreciative for his kindness and patience, he made the experience so much better.

I go to the outdoor bar fairly frequently, and the entire team has been so kind, which I’m not used to in LA. Management was attentive, checking in on me, and Bo’s bespoke cocktails are truly delicious. Come for the charcuterie, stay for the service.
