I had a BLT and it was loaded with crispy bacon. I have never had that much bacon on a BLT. The bread was grilled and toasted perfectly. Great sandwich, neat history in an old bar. Our server, Tammy was so nice and attentive!

The food is always great here, one of my favorite places for a burger, but often when we have visited there has only been the bartender on the floor and had we sat at the bar we would likely be served faster but we chose a booth. If there is more than just one bartender we certainly get served faster. The atmosphere is dark even during the day but I suppose that’s what you expect from a bar.

Excellent staff, and a fun little “dive” bar. With a rich missoula history, 10 gambling machines. an inclusive food menu right up until 8 or 9 pm most nights. They will whip you up anything out of the fryer until closing, if you ask nicely. So if you want a quality cocktail, and some chicken strips at midnight, or one of their amazing home style fresh cooked meals hand prepared by sandra each morning for lunch, or brunch… yeah i like this place. You probably will too. Stop in and drop a some tip$ on my friend red if you see him. He sings covers of country songs. His voice is a sort of Mel tills meets a Johnny Cash. Cool person to boot. Great times to be had at Marvin’s bar.

Lady at the bar was kind to serve us food at 11:30 at night. We had chicken strips and pizzas, all of which was very good. Chicken was cooked to perfection, as was the pizzas. She hooked it up with sauces. The portions are big.

Ordered a burger, tots, a beer, and a shot. Waitress said she was going off shift, so I paid my $30 and tip up front, that’s cool. She never left, an hour later, no food, no service, no eye contact. So I went up and reminded them. You would have thought I just walked in the door. I was 1 of 5 people in the whole place. Just left. If you care about your sanity and health, avoid this hole.

10-4 good buddy. If 70s vibe with great old fashion bar service is what you like, look no further. If Smoky and the bandit had a hideaway this would be it. Log cabin feel with great burgers. Bartender was super friendly and helpful.

My 2nd time eating a buffalo burger… Burger was big and good (but couldn’t finish it)and tater tots were pretty good as well. The environment was laid back even though it was somewhat crowded. Everything was great except the price!! $20 bucks for a burger and tots is a bit much!

The greatest burger I ever had! I was NOT impressed with the menu and how childish it looks but I’m so glad I looked past that. Wendy was such a delight, patient and very communicative. I had to cut that burger in half cuz I could ALREADY see, I wasn’t going to finish it.
