Had a very pleasant experience at Honey Creek Inn. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. My wife had the Walleye which was excellent. It was in a lemon caper sauce that was just right. I had the French Dip which was very good. The fries were also very good.

Why am I paying $15 for Ruffle Potato Chips and a “smash burger” with half the density? Used to be my favorite place to eat, but something has changed. Sad about it 8/8/2023. Hope they read this and adjust. Been going there for 30 years and the place is nostalgic. Would love a comeback!

Drove about 40 minutes here for the Rubin that everyone seems to rave about. Sandwich was kind of a letdown, hardly toasted, barely any cheese & very little dressing. I did like the shredded corned beef, however the sandwich is mediocre at best. My wife got the loaded fries, which looked amazing on google, but again were a total letdown, bland & missing about 1/2 the ingredients compared to the photo on google, cheese was on the bottom & tasted like it came out of a can.

Terrific casual dinner and drinks spot at Honey Creek Inn. Enjoyed the Walleye Dinner with grilled brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes along with the Cannonsburg Burger. Did I mention it’s a ⅓lb of freshly ground round from the grist mill across the street. Service was too notch, and the bar had a decent selection of scotch and bourbon. Went with the Red Breast 12 year Irish Whisky neat and wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommend a visit if your in the Cannonsburg area, followed by a visit to the bottle shop next door and a scenic drive home down Honey Creek Rd back to the GR metro area.

This place is sooo great. Really packed at 530pm Thursdays but mostly mature local people which are always welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was the best. Patience with my many questions and never hurrying us to order n free up our booth. We had aps n drinks on a great leisurely pace. French dip n fries is amazing. I had to park on the other side of the alcohol store in the dirt lot n it’s raining but they have an excellent level concrete sidewalk. There is zero worry about by large vehicle getting door dings. Honey Creek Inn is awesome !!

Ordered take out for the first time. We live 5 mins away. Food was ice cold. French dip was tough. The perch was a joke 4 tiny pieces that were like jerky, a tablespoon of Cole slaw, and half the fries that my husband had with his sandwich for 26 dollars! A total rip off. Only saving grace was the drunken mushroom app. It was the only thing still warm and the bread was good but still too expensive for what we received.

Perfect small town pub. Atmosphere was wonderful and family friendly. We had the smelt basket and it was excellent!

A long time community staple, Honey Creek Inn has a solid if unexciting menu. Very good wait staff and service time, decent price points. Tight, mixed seating (booths and tables) engenders either a fun close party vibe or, a bit of claustrophobia. (If sharing space because of COVID concerns is an issue, probably not a good venue for you). Signature smelt basket was disappointing. Fish have shrunk (farmed?) and coating a bit soggy and uneven. I understand they have outdoor tent seating, but did not get a chance to check out. On balance, great little spot if in the neighborhood, but not necessarily a worthy destination drive.
