Wow so glad I picked this place. I didn’t want the chain restaurant (IHOP, Huddle House, waffle house etc) and I started googling for breakfast cafe in the area before we headed back home from the mountain.. This place is a must visit. The staffs are friendly. You ordered 1st before seating, they will bring your food to your table. Menu selection wasn’t overwhelming and the food was so delicious. The setting for the restaurant is nice and cozy. I can’t wait to come and try their lunch menu. I highly recommend this place.

I had the lunch bowl with steak, peppers and onions. The sour cream, grated cheese, lettuce and tomato and optional avocado are on the side so you can mix them in just the way you like it. The apple turnover for desert was flaky and delicious. The staff was super friendly and the food served super quick. Franklin continues to amaze me with so many great places to eat!!

We had a fabulous lunch at 828. Very friendly, nice owner and wait staff. My husband had a turkey and bacon wrap— fresh turkey, lettuce, tomato and bacon. Delicious! I had a green salad with chicken—fresh greens and lightly breaded chicken. Excellent. We ate outside – very pleasant. Loved the place, will be regulars.

This place is a hidden gem! Breakfast was great. We had the Belgian waffle with eggs, sausage (highly recommended) and bacon. Everything was super fresh and clearly freshly prepared. Atmosphere is perfect and everything seemed very clean. We’ll be back soon (probably today for lunch!)

My husband and I tried 828 Café while in town. Although the food was fresh, it lacked flavor. We had the chorizo burrito and chicken sandwich. The food was all well made, prepared nicely, and the customer service was great but just bland. The fries were the most flavorful part of the meal.
