Love this place, when I was here I was planning my next trip already!… Fun idea and perfect for all occasions. Parking in rear if front parking is crowded. Seconds away from the 605 freeway. Decor is nice and calm inside. Seems like it can get crowded fast maybe a reservation is the best way to go! Japanese Restaurant …. Who knew I would actual like it … The idea I cooked the food made it so much more enjoyable for me. I haven’t ate Chinese or Japanese in a few years. #Good Eats!

Went for a late birthday dinner, honestly the food was great, really good experience. I think the only small gripe I had was when making smores the pilot light kept going out. Otherwise wonderful, will definitely return.

The menu has been updated so o decided to update my review. First of all this place has the marinated meat you can possibly eat. It is the king of all meats so tender and juicy. Plus the employees have great customer service. I recommend this place for any special occasion. Do not hesitate to come because it will be the best decision of your life . The prices are a bit pricy however it is worth it because you feel very full

I work here as dish washer my name is Israel,,but the new manager , Kia I think his name ,,,, he is no good as a supervisor, my old manager was way better AKA Mona… The new supervisor never introduced himself He overcrowds the capacity of restaurant makes me and the workers feel uncomfortable working with him,, and anyone that works with me agrees with me..if you guys read this please tell KIA to wash his hands and stop smoking cigarettes while working on the clock if y’all want to talk about this lmk I’m a dishwasher so I know everything….

Didn’t even eat here, the service was so bad left promptly after being seated. The hostess was scatter brained and took a call right after greeting us telling the person on phone there was no wait time. When she finally got to us again, she told us there was a 5 minute wait … after 10 minutes of waiting we finally got our table. She then gave us menus telling us they are the wrong menus … no one came to even take our drink order. If you care about the customer service you expect while paying HIGH prices, do not eat here… you’re better off waiting for a table at Kura which is next door

Terrific food and service all around. The deals that serve 2 people could easily serve 3, as my friend and I ended up needing 4 to-go boxes to take home leftovers. JBBQ is obviously expensive, but the combo deals made the pricing slightly more realistic for a special occasional. Gyu-Kaku is also a sort of Japanese/Korean fusion with a lot of Korean cuisine being incorporated.

Nothing is happier than at a raining night after working then go out with your best friend.The beef !
