A good experience! A great value for the price. We had the lunch combo and the special and were both pleased with the price. The food was good, but unique. The flavors and colors were different from what I typically expect from an American Chinese restaurant. The fried rice was dark looking but didn’t taste over cooked. The gravy on the Pork Foo Yung was the darkest I’ve ever seen, and while the gravy was good, the egg and veggie patty was not as dense as I expected. The chicken pictured was sweet and sour, but the sauce was orange and almost citrusy, but not quite. It was not my favorite, but none of the uniqueness kept me from eating it. The service was great.

This place is great, I was told it has new owners, but the food is as good as it was 30 years ago. It’s tricky getting in the front parking lot (it’s one way) but there’s more parking behind. (Szechaun beef with steamed rice) 16$

Went here for lunch and they are very accommodating for people with gluten sensitivity. The severs know what food can be made gluten free which is most of the menu. The food came fast and was made fresh and you could taste it. It was affordable and I’d definitely recommend this place to someone who is looking for gluten friendly Chinese food and just Chinese food in general. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

We ordered “D Dinner” for five people for pickup, which was $82. They forgot to include our egg flower soup. They forgot to put sauce on the chicken almond chow mein, so it was just dry chicken, with dried almonds and pieces of celery on top. The “pork fried rice” was just plain brown riced without eggs, green onion, or pork. Egg rolls aren’t as good as they used to be and seem like poor quality, but that could be personal preference so not a huge deal. $82 for five people would have been fine since it was about $16.50 a person, and I could understand if the food didn’t taste as good because everyone has different taste buds. But making two dishes completely wrong, and forgetting the third dish is just kinda lazy. It’s too bad, it used to be really good and the new owners have ruined it.

It was quiet the last time we were here. There were only a couple other tables/booths with diners. It had been awhile since we were here and I was disappointed that every meal came with multiple variations of rice, except one entree I was not interested in, which came with chow mein. I could have got pan fried noodles as a side, but not with any of their meals. So, I ordered almost the same thing my wife had. What was different was that she had the egg flower soup and I had the hot and sour soup; which both of us enjoyed. What we both had was the sweet and sour chicken, deep fried shrimp, BBQ pork and pork fried rice. Personally, I did not care for the fried rice; but, my wife, who usually really likes the pork fried rice here, said it was not good this time to her. But, the sweet and sour chicken was pretty good. The deep fried shrimp, however, tasted a bit greasy, like the deep fryer was not up to temp when they cooked the shrimp. This told me that I probably made the correct choice when I opted not to order a side of the pan fried noodles because I was concerned they would be limp and taste oily, from being stir-fried in a pan that was not hot enough. I am hopeful that if they were busier that the food would be fresh and prepared at the best temp to make the meals even better. As you can see though, the presentation was good on the plates. I should also add I understand it is difficult for some restaurants to stay open and maintain a full menu in these current times.

This place took so much care to understand gluten free dietary restrictions and they can make most things on menu gluten free. The food was amazing and tasted great. Prices were great. Staff was friendly. They were very busy when we were in. Highly recommend this resturant.

Service was excellent, anything we needed, the waitress seemed to anticipate our needs. She was very nice. Service you’d expect at a very expensive restaurant. The food as always was delicious. We didn’t leave any leftovers to bring home lol.
