Dough wasn’t proofed correctly. Tasted nasty, was luke warm when it arrived. Just ugly and not enjoyable. I also marked No contact delivery and wrote where to place my order. None of that was done. It took an hour for the order to arrive which I understand most pizza places do not have the delivery staff so I’m not upset about waiting but I do expect my food to be good when it arrives. Disappointing all around.

Unfortunate updated review. This company has gone to Hell. I ordered from this papa johns once in the last 2 years. Before this, for a few months, I tried to order delivery, but when I called the local store number, it sent meto an call center in India to take my delivery order. They had no clue how to handle it and I couldn’t be taken care of because I refused to give my debit card info over the phone to a person in India. So I tried over and over but kept having to deal with India. I reached out to corporate, but they didn’t care since the phone customer care is in India too. Fast forward, I ordered it a couple weeks ago and just picked it up using the web page. Seems the food went downhill too. Sad

I placed an order last night. I IMMEDIATELY called and asked if i could add a soda. They said that my order was already on the way. 2 HOURS LATER I cancelled my order because it wasn’t delivered. Moral of the story, this place will lie to your face to tell you what you want to hear. 2 stars because my order was delivered after I went and got taco bell. Threw half of my papa John’s order away.

So I call to place and order for delivery and all of sudden they can’t find my address on the map to order …. Funny because we have been ordering from the same location for over 4 years and all of sudden we’re off the map hmmm…. I spoke with the manager on duty which was Kadence and she was rude and not willing to help in any form or fashion !!! All of sudden they mysteriously found my address and was ready to place and order after on hold forEVER….. and the rudeness of the manager on duty I did not feel confident I would even get the food so I did not order but how convenient you finally could find the address …. Can we get some people to manage that can actually be nice to customers and not be rude !!!!!!!!!

The food is usually good unless they fast temper the dough, which was unfortunately the case this time. It makes the dough really hard and chewy. The staff are really nice and fun. The store is clean, and I’ve never had to wait a super long time.

I order from them all the time. Today 9/20/21 at 5pm I ordered 2 well done pizzas like I always do but today they were burnt. Very dissatisfied! The place was not overflowing with people and they didn’t look that busy so they could have re-made it knowing it looked this bad. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

It would have been nice if they would’ve told me this on the phone when I said I was paying CASH . (NO LARGER BILLS THAN 20 ACCEPTED) when I told them they didn’t told me the cashier just shrugged her shoulders and had a rude attitude . First time ordering her, and the last. I’ve been using the PaPa John’s app to order my pizzas and pickup at the La Vergne location. I’d been very pleased with the food quality and the pickup time. My order has been ready before my estimate time. I always pay at the time of pickup. I haven’t had a bad experience at this location. I’m shocked to read a dozen of bad reviews but that’s their opinion. I will continue supporting my local PaPa John’s pizza. ☺
