I’ve eaten pizza in many, many places. Including Italy. This is very good pizza. A good chew on the crust. Good amount of cheese on top. Good quality cheese and toppings. The bbq sauce on the Louisana could be a bit heavier as well as thicker, but it does have a good flavor. Likewise, for the tomato sauce on the regular pizza. I live far from Fairfield and don’t come here often. But now, when I do, I’m coming to New York Pizza Express for lunch or dinner for pizza.

It would be unfair to knock down stars because of the sketchy activity that surrounds this place. However, the people visiting have to be aware of it. Although the exterior is questionable the pizza is delicious and addicting once you’ve tried it. I was also surprised at how good their wings are. Cheap prices, quick times and quality pizza.

If your going here only get the specials. The specials are listed on window outside very visible. I usually get the Hawaiian Large for 8.99 really good buy. But this last time I wanted to try something else. I ended up getting the “Louisiana” large for about $17.40. Bad idea!! Don’t get the Louisiana!!

Not the best location but very good pizza. Be sure to check your pizza before you leave to make sure it’s a full pie. One time it looked like they added a piece or 2 from a smaller pizza which is weird.
