Never have I been to a restaurant where the food took me back home. Their pizza tastes just like my dads and is SO delicious! The Garbage pizza especially! Rosey the bartender greets you as you walk in and is very knowledgeable with her cocktails. We have had burgers, Reubens, and the hot beef as well – a job well done on all! It fills up fast during the dinner rush, but there is a very lovely outdoor patio area in back to enjoy those summer evenings. Definitely don’t sleep on Brookside Bar & Grill – it is well worth the drive! (FYI, they don’t auto bring you glasses of water, you need to ask for it. Cheers!)

Hmmmmm, made the mistake of sitting on the patio on a nice cool day. Crappie reggae music blaring, people’s dogs barking at each other, bees and flies buzzing all over the place. Waited forever for service and just about as long for our food. The good beer and good food were the only saving graces of this establishment on this given afternoon.

I can’t believe we just found this place…but I’m so glad we did. Their outdoor space is wonderful – plenty of room to grab a meal or even some seats to just grab a cocktail & chat. The inside space is great too (although small, so meal times might be pretty full). They have a nice variety of food, beer & cocktails. It’s our new go to spot.

Girlfriends dinner out. Very nice patio! Had a meat raffle going that looked like maybe purses and cups also. Didn’t win. Drinks $6. Friend had wedge salad and said it was fabulous. I had chicken salad, sad to say was very boring. Nothing added to chicken and whatever there “mayo” mixture was. Asked if there add onion and celery? Waitress said possible nuts also. Nope. Won’t order that again. Pizza looked fabulous! Super cute place. Looks like locals might like to keep local. Will go again and try something else. Waitress was great!

Their food kind of took a hit with the COVID-19 pandemic. Used to be they had the best pulled pork sandwich around, folded in the most delicious house BBQ sauce. Then they shut down for a spell, opened back up with a limited menu, and eventually reintroduced the pulled pork, but after three tries I’m just not overly impressed. The meat is still cooked well and moist, but there’s barely if any of that orange BBQ goodness that made me come to the pub twice a month, sometimes more. (Pretty sure the sauce they use is different now and there’s very little of it.) They used to also have MinneSoda brand craft soda on tap, and the cola and root beer were amazing; now I’m pretty sure they just serve bland, old, boring Coke products.
