Just started in the Sushi scene over one year ago with my Japanese girlfriend. She’s gone but my love of sushi remains. I’ve been to sushi restaurants in probably 20+ US States and 10 or so foreign countries. Kendo is my Go To sushi spot. Food is prepared nicely, good portions, and super tasty. Staff is professional yet personable; a great combination. The restaurant is spacious, modern and clean. Kudos to Kevin, Hani, and Queenie for making Kendo a great place to dine, relax, and smile. PS – I rarely give 5 star ratings. I was considering a 4 star but the service her pushed rating squarely in the 5 zone.

Very disappointed in visiting tonight. Waiter was so so and no show at all at our hibachi table. Sushi arrived as dinner started and we were rushed. Waiter informed us sushi was late because they were busy. Same with the no dinner show. Good food though. Wonthurry back for celebrating though. If this is busy hate to see performance in season.

The food was amazingly delicious and gorgeous! Like a work of art .We like sitting at the Sushi Bar watching the sushi chef make his incredible creations! Everything delicious we got a free appetizer a stuffed jalapeño popper so good I give the food a 10 ! It’s season now and other restaurants had an hour wait so we wen to Kendo and got right in ! I usually don’t write anything negative but I have to say the place was not clean the counter has crumbs all up and down and was sticky It hand not been cleaned over night and in the restroom the floor was so sticky and dirty your shoes stuck and make sound walking and the corners of the stalls had Dirk and a thick layer of dust had not been cleaned in a long time . I would still go back for the food

The service has definitely declined, our server couldn’t even remember if they had Pepsi or coke products. We came in with an infant and no one offered a highchair. Food was okay but the bus boy tried to throw away our left over food before being able to box it up and did not understand me when I said no multiple times. The sushi we ordered we didn’t eat and though they were nice and comped it for us, they very loudly stood behind our booth questioning which employee made it as if to punish them when we just didn’t really like the taste. We will not be returning.

The beef stir fry noodle and pad Thai were absolutely delicious and packed full of flavor. The sushi was also very fresh and tasty and the pieces are much larger than I have received at other restaurants. The servers were very attentive. Great place for a date night. This is my new favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine. I’ll be trying the teriyaki chicken my next visit.

Our sushi was showered in eel sauce. I couldn’t eat several pieces. My kids had good food off the menu. Crab salad was good…The Sashimi fell apart and we dropped a couple pieces because of it. Counter was so sticky and sushi bar wasn’t the fun hospitable experience we had a couple Months ago. I was looking forward to it and told my kids it would be so great! It was a let down.

I didn’t go there a week ago! It’s been a few months. I love the cook and his tricks (use casual clothing). Since we were just a couple, the service took hours to start. We were blatantly ignored for a long time. It seemed likeBut there was a (non-) gentleman up front who was working very hard on pretending we didn’t exist, not answering our questions or requests. I finally decided to get a menu from the pile behind the counter and he immediately came alive, screaming at me that I couldn’t touch anything on HIS bar without permission. During the time we were there, he was also in a discussion with another customer, which almost became a physical fight, except that a very polite man who seemed to be the owner interfered and solved the issue.
