Just came to this place to get a roast beef sandwich , the only reason for the two stars is because the guy made my sandwich pretty good, I went to pay and the lady didn’t even tell me the price, I asked how much is was and she told me the price, I then asked for my receipt and she said “too late, you should have asked me for a receipt first” I looked at her puzzled and told her I wanted a receipt, she almost made it seem like I was inconveniencing her by asking. Unfortunately this will be my last time coming here, it’s a shame because some people have no people skills: I’m actually sitting in my truck eating my sandwich right now outside the place writing this review. People skills are more valuable than good food Lisa’s, adios

#BringBackDana The replacement is rude and literally turns away long time business. I’ve been going to Lisa’s for 14 years, b/c it IS delicious and the deli staff is fantastic, but today I went to the deli @ ACME to make a sandwich b/c the angry blond woman is just that awful. When I called she immediately barked “HOUR WAIT” (not my first rodeo with this greeting), so I said okay and she put me on hold.. When she finally came back on the phone she told me it was “crazy” in there and I should call back. In person is no better.. she ignores you and won’t even look up from whatever ur is she’s decided is more important than you.. one day she insisted on sweeping nothing(!!). Dana was kind, she knew you & your order from your phone # and had it ready in 10-15 min. More over she was nice & CARED about her customers. This “new” woman isn’t even new really, I’d be empathetic if this hadn’t been going on for months. Her last concern is you!

Spent the day in Brooklyn and needed to feed the family. Read the reviews online for Lisa’s, but that didn’t tell the story of how fantastic the sandwiches tasted. In short…phenomenal and definitely a highlight if my first trip to New Jersey. Be warned…they have a sandwich for every appetite and desire. Fresh meats and cheeses, plus fresh bread equal a fantastic sandwich. Bonus for me…I got to show my boys the type of Italian deli I frequented in my youth. They also carry a large number of foods from prosciutto to salami to fresh cheeses to massive cans of tomatoes. Parking is a bit tricky but it’s definitely worth the effort. Will absolutely visit again!

Wow! Been going there for a couple of years. Just called up to place an order for pickup, the girl that answered says “ Lisa’s, how can I help you” … I say , I would like to place an order to pickup? Her response exactly “ umm no, we’re kinda busy” and then slams the phone down… Well need to say I’m done with them and sure to pass the word on to my coworkers.

Terrible experience with delivery…waited over an hour for chicken parm and garlic cheese bread and raised is what I got …terrible quality and way too expensive for dry pasta, old overcooked chicken and “garlic bread” come on I can do better than this…stay away

Usually have a great experience at Lisa’s deli moved outta town a year ago and decided lets get a ol mutz sandwich for old time sake ..but today was different..walked in and was meant by a very rude blond lady that didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge a customer apparently her cellphone call was more important than service. After waiting 5mins she told me “what do you want”..*rude*…ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SMH sorry Lisa’s u just lost a customer
