Spent a day sightseeing around central Kansas and ended up in Council Grove to see some historical sites, visit Flint Hills Books and get something to eat. Decided smoked meat sounded good after asking for a recommendation at the bookstore. This place doesn’t look like much from the e outside, but the food is absolutely delicious. Service was great, too. But seriously, make sure you save room for pie! Not even kidding. Best flaky crust and soooooo delicious. Come hungry and leave full. The cowboy beans and coleslaw are made in house and super tasty. Try them!

They were very welcoming; the food & service were great! The owners put in a brand new smart tv so the patrons could watch the Cheifs beat the Chargers on Amazon Prime streaming.

Food was horrible, the older waitress kept hitting on my boyfriend I believe she was close to 50. Service was horrible. Waited forever for food and to be checked out. Asked to speak to owners and their breath reeked of alcohol. Burgers were dry, could hear yelling from kitchen, and inappropriate conversations between staff at the bar. Went to beer garden and witnessed employees using illegal substances as well as in the bathroom.
