I so badly want to like this place because of its location and drive thru. We’ve tried them several times but I can’t get past the fact that their tortillas are/taste store bought. In a city where there are so many breakfast taco places, you can’t afford to have bad tortillas. It makes the whole taco. The chorizo and egg was also slimy. The barbacoa was decent but again the tortilla ruined it. I had promise that the corn tortillas were better but my husband (who will literally anything) said they were average, not great. I’ll keep waiting longer at Salsa’s and Dos Jaliscos for great food.

It was ok. They seem to be getting tapped out with the weekend crowd. They didn’t have salt and pepper at the tables and many did not have stocked napkin dispensers but did quickly resolve when brought to their attention.

So far a 3. We seated ourselves which is nice, it does have a nice space and is very colorful, however the lady who took our order didn’t know what type of aquarium frescas they had. I ordered water and my husband ordered lemonade, it took her about 10m to come with our drinks and we wanted the regular cups and she brought it in a to go cup. She then tended to walk away and then stopped to get our order for our food. I told her I wanted the enchiladas with mole she had to look at my menu to spell it. Will update once we get our food

I have come there multiple times for their breakfast tacos. And every time I’ve gone there the service is either trash or amazing this time I came today to get breakfast tacos. One of the cashiers took my order first and I was passed over by someone else who came in after me to take his order before me. That right there shows their customer service is pretty trashy. Also, you need to be careful with your tacos. Sometimes you’ll find things in there that is not food.

Waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes. My order was a torta and lemonade. The total was 10.77. I didn’t leave a tip (it’s a drive thru). I was charged 12.77. She helped herself to a tip. The taco truck around the corner has better food and doesn’t steal your money. First and last time coming here.

They have great beans and salsa both worthy of 5 stars but everything else is pretty mid. And watch out always reinspect your receipt. Idk who did it and it hasn’t happened since but still be careful no one overcharged you or anything like that.

Great food at a great price, had the guisada burrito, my wife had the beef nachos, they were both delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

We went there for dinner. We usually stop for breakfast tacos when we are in town. The Gorditas are truly authentic and the meat was almost fork tender, with a nice chew. The carne guisada was equally as good and the enchiladas were good. The only drawback was the pico de Gallo. It was 99 percent tomatoes and 1 percent onion and pepper. This was really a take away since there was only green salsa. Without the acid and moisture the dryness took away from the incredible taste and texture of the other two. Maybe next time I will get the food to go after I stop by HEB for the condiments!
