Took my Daughter there for her graduation dinner, as it’s her favorite place to eat. We arrived a little after 5, and was seated the minute we walked in. Our waitress was prompt and friendly, she had our drinks to us within a couple minutes after being sat. I can’t remember exactly which rolls we ordered, but they were all excellent, as were the brussel sprouts. I couldn’t eat enough of those. We’ve been coming here for 11 or 12 years, and we’ve never had a bad experience, but if I had to say one thing- the fountain sodas are always a little flat. That’s about the worst thing I could think of.

This place was delightful! The Ramen bowls were super filling and delicious. I also got the Tiger roll which was a fun new taste test. I did notice that most upstairs seating did not have backs on their chairs. If that is something you struggle with or dislike, please ask for different seating, as meals tend to last about 30 minutes at minimum due to food being freshly prepared. My back was a bit sore by the end of my dining experience. The overall atmosphere was excellent and our waitress had good recommendations while being attentive to our water cups.

Truthfully, the food was fairly good. The atmosphere is nice if you can catch them on a day where the patios are open. The hostesses didn’t seem to prioritize seating the customers, but all of this could have been overlooked if it weren’t for our waitress. Diana was easily one of the worst waitresses I’ve ever had. She was rude, took forever to get our drinks, and clearly did not know what she was doing. The quality of the sashimi is what saved this from being 1 star, as the server can very easily make or break the experience.

Our whole family loves Kampai. The food is stellar, the setting is sleek but welcoming, and service is top-notch. Favorite dishes of mine include the octopus salad and the brussel sprouts with chili oil. They feature a ridiculous number of rolls for sushi & sashimi lovers. There are a few beef, chicken and pork dishes for those who don’t care for fish, as well as vegetarian options.

Upscaled Japanese sushi bar and restaurant. The food taste worth it. Though its expensive but the menu is good, the staff is friendly, feel free to ask them details from the menu and ask for recommendations based on your taste levels. They serve complimentary soup with tofu.. the soup taste wonderful, so as the ramen which was legendary… i am a biggest fan of Japanese ramen and they served the one was hit!!
