I stumbled upon this place in the LA Airport leaving a month long trip and was craving some American greasy food. I stopped and had a late lunch. Of course my stomach was bigger than my eyes. I did like the dish and chips but it was a bit greasy. The clam cowder was great.

I do like that the seating is tucked away. Table was not clean and staff cleared but didn’t clean. $76 for very very small fish and chips, fish taco (with two mini taco shells) and a shrimp roll. Shrimp was tasty, slightly tough and bread is perfect buttery and crunchy with soft inside. Fries are horrible. Fish was super greasy, too heavy breading and slightly over cooked. Wishing we’d tried the Asian restaurant instead. I usually like slapfish, but it’s a pass at LAX. Expect to leave hungry.

Average food, poor service and 18% gratuity that is charged automatically without notifying the customer. Not impressed.

So pleased we tried their $14 BREAKFAST SHRIMP BURRITO. SUBSTANTIAL AND YUMMILICIOUS. Even with the unexpected tax, it worked out a sweeter deal than the sub place opposite. Recommend SIT DOWN and TAKE THE TIME to enjoy their Breakfast Shrimp Burrito – Scrambled eggs, fries, cabbage, Jersey sauce, tomato, bacon and shrimp in flour tortilla.

In terminal 3, the Delta wing.Firstly, you need to know that for whatever you purchase here, you will pay a 20% “gratuity” fee!!! Greasy, right out of freezer to feep fryer.

18% gratuity charged on a take out bottle of water and they don’t mention the gratuity they just hand you the receipt after you pay. Really??! $11 for a small bottle of Smart Water. Gee the food reviews are horrible, glad I didn’t get any food.

Gotta say, the grilled fish taco was beyond my expectations. They served it with a knife and fork which I tried to forego, but they were necessary. The tartare sauce was absolutely decadent. Best food I’ve found in an airport! Their bar charges much less for a drink than others do in the terminal.

Looks like a great little place and the food was tasty. So expensive! The worst thing about this place is the customer service. There are 3 ladies and all they do is pick up trash. No one asks you how your doing or helpful unless you ask for something. They just talk to each other. They even were complaining about customers and laughing. Not a welcoming environment.

Got the fish plate with salmon, and it very tasty. The salad was fresh, and they were able to get me some ranch dressing. My son enjoyed a shrimp roll with friend shrimp, and both the shrimp and the bread were good.

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with that place. The food was really expensive, it was a long wait (understandable though, it IS in an airport, after all), and honestly wasn’t worth it. I got the lobster roll with fries. The lobster roll was pretty boring, and the roll was WAY to thick and heavy. The fries were disappointing and the only sauce option was ketchup. It’s open late, however, so I was able to stay in the restaurant as long as I needed. The food wasn’t horrible, but DEFINITELY not worth $30+ for one person. Don’t get your hopes up, it IS airport food, after all.
