Out of 5 meals, only one was undercooked, slightly, and that stuff happens; we understand that. Everything else was absolutely phenomenal! Presentation, taste, texture was all amazing. Largest crab legs I’ve had in a long time.

Really enjoyed the food, and the service was awesome! I skipped what they are famous for and had the beer battered fish & chips, with shrimp. Instead of crab legs. Crunchy outer layer, flaky fish inside… delicious! I had the happy hour Crab Punch as a drink. I highly recommend both. Our experience with the hostess started our visit off to a poor start, but thankful our server and the food more than made up for her snooty attitude at the front. Will definitely be back!

This is our go to every time we go to Hilton Head and it’s normally 5 stars. Food and atmosphere was great but our service was lacking.

Probably my least favorite seafood on the island. The fish had absolutely no taste whatsoever. The chicken tenders were frozen. The slaw had a weird taste and the grits were horrible. The oysters Rockefeller had more Rockefeller then oysters. My first and last time here. Looks can be deceiving! There was so many great reviews…not quite sure what people see in this place. Skull Creek is definitely the better seafood!

10/10! The atmosphere was excellent. The waitress was amazing ! We ordered the gumbo soup, gator bites , crab dip and the original crab boil. Everything was soooo good! The hush puppies that came to the table with the meal was the best I’ve had. Family friendly, they even have outside area for the kids to play!

There are three things that a restaurant must have to be excellent. First, it must have good food. Second, good service. And third, good atmosphere. The Crazy Crab Jarvis Creek checks off all these boxes. My wife and I went to the Crazy Crab on a Friday early evening. After checking in at the desk on the outside deck, we were seated at a table by a window with a wonderful view of the marsh. Our server quickly arrived with a bowl of hushpuppies which were quite good. He took our beverage order and when he returned with the iced teas he took our food order. Let me say up front that the service was excellent. Our server monitored his tables well, filling our beverage glasses before they got empty and checking on us periodically to see if all was well. The food came quickly and was served appropriately hot. I ordered the broiled seafood platter (flounder, scallops, shrimp, and crab cake) and my wife ordered grilled teriyaki salmon. It was all good, but my favorite was the salmon. Yes, it wasn’t mine, but my wife shared some with me. The salmon had a pleasant smokiness to it, and the teriyaki sauce had a nice smoky-sweet taste that complimented the salmon well. We enjoyed the casual, comfortable feel of the restaurant. Not only was our view of the outdoors very nice, but the interior of the restaurant was decorated with many interesting sea-related items. And finally, the iced tea was very good – crisp and clean just as I like it. So, good food, good service, and good atmosphere. It added up to an excellent dining experience and we plan on visiting again.

So much more than your typical seafood restaurant. We had the shrimp cocktail, lobster tails, and fried clams. Not surprisingly, these seafood dishes were all delicious. We also had the ribeye steak. It too was very tasty, and cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with one of the best desserts we ever had. We had the salted caramel cheesecake. It was creamy with an incredible crust. Highly recommend this restaurant. No matter what you order, you will be pleased.

What a disappointment today. My sister and I made this a destination for lunch because of past experiences and picturesque location. Initially, I thought it strange that it wasn’t busy at noon on a Sunday. The hostesses greeted us. One led us inside and sat us in a booth right next to a large party and away from the picture windows with views overlooking the marsh. There was no one else in the entire section of approximately 20 tables. We moved to a four top on a window, but the server had to ask permission of the hostess to make the move. Keep in mind, we were the only other customers in the whole section.

Last dinner out and this place was an awesome choice! Food was amazinggggg! Our waitress was so kind and friendly and the view was wonderful! Can’t believe after vacationing on HHI since a kid I’ve never been here. Will be adding this place to the list! We ordered the crab pot, hushpuppies, and salmon spinach salad.
