Delicious fresh food served here. The workers were nice and attentive. We dined in. The portions were so generous. Biscuits nice and fluffy. It was so good we got a few biscuits to go and the lady placed them under the heat lamp to keep them warm until we finished eating. How thoughtful!

I went to get 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuit combos. ALMOST $20! That is insane! If I wanted to pay for over cooked sausage and bacon I’ll would do it myself. Not only that but they didn’t have all sides available. I can see if the food was worth it but that’s ridiculous. Bojangles you can get way more food for less. And the quality is better

I miss this place so much, sine moving. The food is really awesome. I miss the ham and cheese biscuits I used to stop by a get on the way too work. And the fried chicken idms off the chain. Always hot and delicious. Miss you guys I lived across the street on Church 2 years ago. Never disappointed.

Honestly, one of the better chicken spots in NC compared to fast food chains like Bojangles or chic-fil-a. With a wider variety of food options to choose from at a comparable price, I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

First couple of times we went here… Perfection…But this past time was awful. Idk if they changed cooks but this was definitely not the same. The chicken wings were over cooked and very small. The Mac and cheese was dreadful, the texture is clumpy and very dry. It was not worth the money.

I have been coming to The Chicken Barn for over 20 years. The location has changed and the prices increased, but the chicken is still the best around, as are the wingettes. Small and not plumped up from giant hormone chickens, but tasty nonetheless.

Disappointed! Dont let pictures fool ya!! I really wanted to like it I thought it was county cooking but it was dry overcooked chicken, grease soaked okra, instant potatoes canned gravy and canned biscuits. Yuuuck!!!! There were really sketchy characters walking by staring at me while I was eating from the gas station that is connected to restaurant. Im from Detroit and I didnt feel safe here?? Only bright spot was the cashier was really nice. Should have just ate my cereal bar in the car or gone to bojangles. I would have been safer and it would have tasted better. Lol
