Requested a 2 piece, roasted breast and thigh plus a chicken sandwich. The person making the order calls me and tells me the roasted chicken will take 8 minutes so I told them to give me the chicken sandwich while I waited. I finished my mashed potatoes and sandwich so I asked them if my food was ready and he looks back and then says it’s going to be another 4 minutes. I look at my receipt and I’ve been waiting about 25 minutes. I told them to just give me a fried chicken breast instead of the roasted chicken breast I was waiting on, they say ok and hand me my to go box. I open it up and it’s 2 thighs instead of a breast and thigh. I asked the guy making the order if that was a breast and thigh and he assured me it was a breast and thigh, I knew it was 2 thighs. I ask him to call his manager and someone else comes and immediately acknowledges 2 thighs. They give me a.chicken breast and apologize saying the person making my order is new. I tell them I was not trying to cause a scene or make a big deal but I had waited near half an hour for me not to get the roasted chicken pieces and instead settled for grilled and almost got the wrong order.

Melissa and Juan are very professional young employees with great attitudes. I hope management takes heed of this. The food was fresh and fantastic as always with this chicken chain, and this is consistent at multiple locations at which I have dined. This place is my choice for tenders any day of the week. This location lobby was dirty with spilled soda on a chair and the floor and nobody coming out to tend to it. I had to ask them to fill the self serve ice machine and the self serve ice cream maker wasn’t working. As a manager an associate sat near the self service area an did nothing. Made us worry about the way the food prep area maybe managed.

I ate at the Golden Chick in Harrell, Tx off the highway. If you haven’t eaten there before. It was small and quiet. Not a lot of people. The staff was very fast getting your order out. They even had an ice cream machine for a free ice cream. Only Dine-in!!!

I wish I got the girls name that helped us but she was an absolute sweetheart! We went for food at 9 while they were extremely slow. I was told a 20 minute wait while nobody else was at the establishment. I know it doesn’t take 20 minutes for wings to cook so I asked. He said they were putting everything away and that’s why. I feel if a business is open this shouldn’t occur. He said this so they could continue to close. This costs your business money.
