This was a pretty good diner. I liked the front row seats near the griddle, it felt like “hibachi breakfast” at times. (I realize other places let you do this as well, but it felt more amplified here.)

One of the coolest diners I’ve been to! I just absolutely love all the vintage decor and the colorful atmosphere and some good food. This is a definite hidden gem in Pittsburgh that I would recommend to everyone.

Had to wait over an hour for our food which would have been fine had the reason not been because he decided that making his families food before all of his customers was the way to go…when we finally did get our food my pancakes were raw in the middle. About 20 minutes later the owner did come over to talk to us, but he decided that lieing to our face was the way to go so that he could justify why he made the decision he did. Will never be going back after this horrible experience.

Valliant’s Diner is a local restaurant that serves simple, delicious breakfasts and lunches. During my visit, the restaurant was clean, prices were low, and the waitress was prompt and courteous. My husband and I enjoyed our sandwich, potatoes, omelet, bacon, and orange juices.

If you’re looking for a textbook diner, this is the place. The decor, menu, and atmosphere are exactly what you’d expect. The service is impressive. Food is blisteringly hot and fresh. We sat at the bar so we could watch them cook, and we weren’t disappointed. True masters of this craft, they even took the time to talk to us with the few seconds they had to spare. The people here are truly committed to preserving an iconic american experience.

If your looking for some good food and diner feel. This is the place so cozy and we decided to eat at the bar area where you can see them fry up all the food right there if not there is booths too. Parking is a bit tight but it was well worth it!
