I’m so sorry that I have not left a review before because I have been enjoying their food for years! The food and service from this family owned and run restaurant is truly second to none in this valley, and among Mexican food, in my humble opinion it is THE BEST! The make everything from scratch. Their chips, sauces, tortillas are so good and their recipes and spicing for the meats are magnificent!

I ordered a smothered chile verde chicken burrito. It was quite tasty, really fat, but maybe a little pricey at $13. This was the first time I went in. I will go back.

Overall it was a decent experience, the food was what you’d expect, pretty authentic mexican. The atmosphere was fine but there were a lot of flies in the dining area and that was distracting. Also the value for the price didn’t quite match up for me (~$15 a plate)

It was our first time coming here. Oddly it was because another Mexican restaurant was backed up and I was sooo in the mood for a great Mexican dinner. I was not disappointed. The wait was not bad at all, the normal about 15 minutes. The chips were fresh and crispy. Not oily like some other places. Just right!! The salsa had some heat to it. THANK YOU!!! To many places think mild is the way to be. It was just right. Didn’t burn the mouth out but had the zing. We got the chimichanga and enchilada combo. Both with the shredded beef. These things were fat and plump. A lot of beef in them. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. This meal was tasty all the way down to the refried beans and rice. A really good portion of tasty food and an excellent price. Inside the building is more of that hole in the wall feeling. So if you are looking for high end this is not it. It is that down to home comfortable feeling. As I was walking out a man came in to play the guitar for live music. This place is a hidden gem. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you for the great dinner.

I loved this place because everything was so yummy and fresh. Freshly made tortillas? What else can you ask for. I got their pescado empapelado which is a fish and veggies steamed in foil paper.

You’d never really expect this hole in the wall to be absolutely out of this world, but it is. The food tastes fresh and isn’t on a steaming hot plate (like most Mexican restaurants). I got the Combo 5 plate and my wife got the pork meat on bones (forgot the Spanish name, maybe Costillas de puerco) for lunch. The beans were creamy and the rice was so moist. My chimichanga was filled with tender carne asada and cooked crispy on the outside.

For months, I’ve been coming here. Utah’s best Mexican restaurant. The portions are enormous and are always fresh and quick.

Never been here before but wanted to try something new. We accidentally came in 15 minutes before closing and they were so accommodating, took our orders and packed us up for takeout. Service was great. The food was good too- I’d order something else next time but I could tell, the flavors were there. I’d stop by again!

Best enchilada plate covered with fried eggs I’ve had this month, can’t wait to go again this week for something new.
