The food, service, and atmosphere was all 100% perfect! It’s hard to find a good authentic Indian cuisine despite the many Indian restaurants in SE Michigan! Saffron has very high standards in quality, service, flavors and most importantly, cleanliness. I’ve been there many times, and every time their food tastes exactly the same, just pure delicious! I am so happy I stumbled upon this wonderful place. The entire facility is very clean. I will not be going to any other place! Saffron is my go to from now on. Oh, and you have to try the sautéed oakra dish, it’s heavenly!

The best Indian buffet. I missed it during Covid-glad it has returned! Many choices including salad and dessert. Nice wait staff. Reasonable price considering all of the choices.

The food was pretty good. Reception took a long time to notice we were waiting to be seated. I think they were understaffed. Service at table was good though. Atmosphere was also decent, better than average. Had the Hyderabad with chicken. Chicken was not as succulent as other places but still great, not undercooked or dry. The sauce was tasty but not delicious. Price compared to portion size was about average. I paid almost $14 for dinner and was served just enough to feed me once. The parking lot lights were turned off by the time we left, 15 minutes prior to their official closing time.

I have been going here for the past 10 years. This place has the most flavorful Indian food that I have ever had. Personable yet fast service.

The service was very disappointing. The food ordered was not served on time and had to cancel the order. The staff was not good very rude behavior. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This rating is for the buffet. Very limited menu and none of them special. Was expecting a south indian but it was totally north indian, maybe i didn’t know. The price 15.99 is lower than any other restaurants in the area but its really not worth it. Major disappointment was that there was no non-veg biryani.

Microwave steamed uncle Ben’s tastes better. Idk how this place got 4 stars. Costco’s Inseam ready package tastes better. Biryani rice was no more than yellow (No 9) colored rice with microwave steam diced veggies. Rice was’t even the cheapest Indian Basmati rice. Goat curry meat tastes like Rubber Made chunks with absolutely no curry spice flavor. Chicken curry stew tasted so sweet it’s like eating cotton candy. Tofu was too sweet as well. Tandoori chicken was super dry & tasteless. Mango Lassi was pretty good. 2 different desserts were horrible, one kind (orangish color) was good. Peaple are decent & friendly. Buffet berley worth $5 at best. Over all NO INDIAN SPICES or FLAVORS in this food, which is what Indian food is famous for.

We were on Mother’s Day weekend. The buffet price was increased by almost $10. However the food choices were also much more and nicer. So I guess a trade off, of sorts.
