We were looking for an authentic taco spot. And did not get what we were looking for. The food was expensive. But not worth the taste. Before Ernesto taco was the closest to an amazing taco spot. Now it’s the complete opposite of what it used to be. Make the drive, if you want some good tacos.

Not Mexican-12 dollar torta and coke is not mexican. I can say that because I am mexican. The asada is super salty. They had to do my order twice. Guacamole had no cilantro or onions. My torta had no spread of beans, Mexican cheese (Oaxaca or Fresco). The salsa is really weak. Long story short, really expensive and NOT authentic.

Sunday evening they’re supposedly closing at 8pm and tried to place and order at 7:30pm. They don’t answer the phone nor do they take online orders. We get there at 7:40 and they tell my wife that they do not take orders. Disappointing. Cutler bay Ernesto’s is one of our favorites, this location not so much.

I’ve eaten a lot of different Mexican food , but the burrito I tried today was AMAZING! Ernesto’s will now be my go to Mexican food place. I ordered their carne asada burrito and it’s packed with meat and flavor. I definitely recommend you try it

I had forgotten how good and fast the food is here. Definite upgrade from Taco Bell when you want quick and tasty. Service was friendly and helpful just wish they had an extra protein option and traditional salsa for the chips. Food was tasty and I recommend!
