Honestly, I know there are a lot of good Mexican restaurants in San Antonio. But the food here is awesome, great, and delicious. Remember to have great Mexican food in a restaurant. You have to have three things. 1st Homemade Tortillas, and I don’t mean dough brought in frozen thawed out and then pressed by a machine that’s not homemade. Here, they truly brought me back when I was a kid smelly them when my mom made it in the morning. 2nd Homemade beans, whether refried or charro they are delicious. 3rd Homemade rice man it’s good. Honestly, everything is wonderful. I recommend anything on the menu. The staff is great, nice ,polite , and friendly.

I went in this morning after reading good reviews on here. The gentleman at the counter was nice and the food was good but… I ordered carne asada with egg and cheese in a to go container and they he brought me out 1 taco! 1 taco! Wasn’t very big at all… My gripe is that it cost $6.47! I wouldn’t mind the cost if it was in a to go container with almost $7 worth of food but it was one small taco for almost $7! It was good but I will definitely not be going back with that price.

It’s okay food price is responsible. Plates special everyday of the week but the same plates. Switch it up a bit you know and my mother n law likes it. There’s times when me and my wife goes and my plate or tacos are never on time. So I’m guessing the cook can’t seem to view the ticket order. But things are just fine with me so what’s the deal?
