We tried Carmines out and really liked the experience. The venue is beautiful indoor/outdoor with waterfront. There was a wedding party on the large outside deck, so we sat inside. Went with wife and 3 year old. Staff was super nice and not stuffy. Nice enough to dress up for, but we totally weren’t and were comfortable.

Good food but the service is awful. My waitress was so drunk she slurred her words. We had a large party and the staff acted like accommodating 10 people at a super slow time of day was rocket science. Had to ask for things like more water multiple times.

After reading some of the reviews for this place, I was prepared to dislike it, and so felt the need to write a review because I DID have a good experience here. (This is my first time writing a review.) From the moment we arrived, the service personnel were attentive, friendly and competent. The bread brought to the table was warm. Once we ordered, the food arrived quickly and was what we wanted. !It was tasty — especially, the eggplant parmesan! The prices were reasonable. I would come here again.

Today Sunday , March 13 2016 We decided to go to Carmine’s for an early dinner , it was 5 of us ( 2 adults and 3 kids ) . Number 1 – we had to wait for the hostess to finally come to the front and sit us down ( mind you the place was not full ) . Number 2 – the waitress was slow , took forever to bring the drinks we all ordered . Number 3 – we had to ask for bread ( when that comes automatically ) . Number 4 – we all ordered our meals and it took over than 25-30 minutes to get the Salmon , Plain ravioli with French fries , spaghetti , Fettucine Alfredo and Lobster Ravioli. Well is safe to say that the food was Horrible. The Lobster ravioli was cold inside , they serve you a very small portion , the plain ravioli was hard on the outside / edges , the spaghetti was nothing to write home about , the salmon was cold , we all started eating and then the waitress came around asking if we wanted cheese on top !!! Really after we started eating for a good 5 to 7 minutes . This restaurant is nothing special , nothing to write home about !! Save your money and go somewhere else. There are way better Italian restaurants in Miami . PS— this place is not cheap. A lot of money for the mediocre service , and the horrible food !!!

I haven’t decided what was worse the food or the service. First we asked the waiter for a red sangria and he brought us the white one ($25.00), he asked if it was our first time and we said yes but he didn’t explained the menu so we order a chicken plate but we ordered salad for an extra $3.50 but when the order came the plate had a salad already included, the chicken was hard, dry and tasted like old chicken, the manager came to apologize and he said that he was going to get it off the check and offered a dessert as an apology, when we got the check the charged the dessert and the extra salad and the waiter said that that’s nothing to do with him??? End of the story we are not coming back, expensive and bad food

Charlie and his staff are truly amazing…… This is my second encounter in the past 2 weeks and on both occasions from the moment we were greeted at the door until it was time to go, Charlie and his crew showed us a dinning experience that was unforgettable. The food, service and ambiance are second to none in my humble opinion!! We look forward to our next dinning experience at this newly found Italian jewel. After $300 of awesome food, the only reason why 2 stars is because of service. Fortunately this is not another Cadillac ranch where you normally go for casual service and ok food for happy hour with friends etc… but it felt like it, first it took a very long time to get waited, then we had to ask if there was bread, then if there was vinegar and olive oil.

Hi, yesterday I had a company dinner set to be at Carmine’s an I didn’t had a reservation I forget to made one , I call 15 minutes before an the manager took my call an was so kind and helpful by the time we arrive he had everything set a beautiful table set next to the windows with a great view to the outside. our server Jaime was super and took care of every detail got bread, wine , appetizer’s and the food was excellent my group was very happy I choose this restaurant. I recommend if you want to have a good business place to have dinner in Kendall Carmine’s is a big A+. Thanks Elvis and Jaime for all.
