One of the best if not THE Best norteno style pollo Asados in San Antonio. The food taste and quality are identical at both the Walzem and the original Rigsby location. Fajitas are grilled to perfection and tender. The rice is flavorful and the charro beans are cooked with bits of chiccharon to add more flavor. Try their food with a Mexican coka cola. Can’t go wrong at either location. Enjoy! Oh! And that green salsa, gotta have that!

This place had great food. It was our first time eating here. Lots of options. I tried a Salchi Burger. A tad spicy but good. Stephen had the half chicken. It was a lot more food than either of us expected. They had frozen margaritas but they made me one on the rocks at my request. The wait staff was always there and we never had an empty glass. Great little find.

This chicken, imma tell you this CHICKEN was on POINT!!! I was eating it, and while eating it my mouth was still watering from how good it was!!! I normally get panda, or bill millers, even las palapa. But imma tell YOU after eating at all those other places I am never satisfied. Skip all the other restaurants and make your way up to Pollos Asados Norteños you won’t regret it! The beans had great flavor and even the rice had great flavor which is rare to find now days at Mexican restaurants! This reminded me so much of my mothers cooking growing up as a kid! A single plate which is called half a chicken was 12 and some change. It’s worth it! They give a good amount! A posted a picture so you could see I didn’t leave anything behind!

First time experience was good. Took a chance and food is really delicious. Would definitely recommend. This place is a little hidden (next to/beside the old IHop) and parking could be better but other than that, would definitely order again when in the area.
