Their fried chicken tasted better than the other fried chicken restaurants in the area. Cole slaw & potato salad are way ~~~ too sweet, if they decreased the amount of the sugar on their side dish then that would taste like a side dish, – not dessert. The hush puppies were good.

What would you expect for 20 dollars of your income? When you ask for a shrimp and bbq platter you definitely expect a proportionate amount of each and to be cooked with effort and satisfaction in mind.

This restaurant is clean with a classic diner atmosphere. It is handicap friendly with adequate handicap seating available. The restroom facilities are kept clean and sanitized. Smithfield’s have been a local favorite in Hope Mills for decades with a refreshing break from traditional fast food burgers.

I placed an ORDERED online thru the SMITHFIELD WEBSITE, APPARENTLY the worker at the window try to tell me I order thru DOORDASH try to explain to her that was not the case she told me I needed to come inside then closed the window in my face. Went inside the attendant at the service desk was also clueless. I limped inside with my hurt ankle which was the purpose of ordering on line so I would not have to go in. I got home 10 minutes later food was COLD. Called back the so called assistant manger,also tried to tell me I placed and order on line thru doordash she stood angry with me until her shut the HELL up and listen. That part I do apologize for using profanity. I would placed my receipt on line but it has my information on it. I say this to inform Smithfield pleas educate your employees and the so called assistant Manger of your website. Also this happen on 8/8/2023. Also this was the Camden Road site.

This was off camden drive in hope mills. When i say the tailgate bundle was everything. The food was so delicious. The chicken was good. The hushpuppies were sweet like i like them. We got to try the potatoe salad and it was sweet. Good but i didnt want it so we substituted it for fries. My mom like their cole slaw and we got the bbq as well. It also came with a gallon sweet tea, which was ok. Nothing over the top with that but it was drinkable. Overall it was a really good experience and i would recommend.

They say they were short staffed could not complete my order at speaker so my order was messed up had to use bank card twice because drive through employee was overwhelmed but she still was courteous and apologized for confusion

Drive-thru was fast and the employee was incredibly nice! We bought 2 large BBQ plates and one chicken breast. The total was $40. Kind of surprised at how little BBQ was on the plates. The food was good, but the amount of food was disappointing
