The food and service were both very good. I had a little sticker shock with the prices. My husband got a cheeseburger with pineapple on it plus fries for $18. I came for the gumbo which was very rich and thick.

Hate confrontation, so here goes. Just spent $41.60 on a ribeye that was 25% fat and gristle. Veggies were excellent. Waitress in training didn’t know to make my salad. Trainer offered to keep my steak “warm” if I still wanted one made. Advice: NEVER,EVER offer to keep a steak warm !, either make a new one or adjust the bill. I passed on the salad. They didn’t offer to adjust my bill. Probably won’t go back. 🙁
