Food is seasoned very well. Fried catfish was not greasy & not just breading. Mashed potatoes tasted like potatoes. Lunch u get one meat & 2 veggies with cornbread & drink for 8 bucks. Nice people who know how home cooking tastes! Great food and staff. I visited here from out of town and really enjoyed it. The price for the lunch meal was very reasonable and the food amazing. This would be a great place to host an event.

NEVER AGAIN…Tried to give us some support & got nothing but attitude in return. We ordered 6 dinners & the server at a HORRIBLE attitude. They were out of 3 things incl a meat but we weren’t advised till after we paid. Therefore, we had to change the orders during placement. As if her sigh’s & eye rolling was not enough this impatient lady said “Ima have to pray” (bc we’re chg the sides bc they’re out of food)! Omg I was like did she really say that. Then the lady tried to justify. There’s no justification! The rudeness continued. I will not return but don’t ask we we don’t support our ppl.

I met a guy for a first date here on a Sunday afternoon for the soul food buffet. Neither one of us was impressed with the food or the service. The hostess was very nice. The food was not made from scratch or fresh and the only season used was too much salt. The catfish was decent but lacked season, the mashed potatoes were instant, cabbage had no seasoning, sweet potatoes were canned and overly sweet lacking cinnamon, the cornbread tasted like jiffy. It was the service that really upset us. There was no clean silverware so we asked for some and the woman who brought literally threw it on the table unwrapped or on a napkin. They never asked about drink refills or if we needed anything. I truely hope she was just having a bad day and that it was not because I was the only white woman in there with a black man. I was extremely disappointed.

This place is great. Always clean and the service is great! I am always met with a smile. The lunchbox special is great! Lots of GREAT food for an amazing price! Just plan to take a nap afterwards! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The evening/weekend dinner specials are equally as amazing. Don’t sleep on this place…if you do, you’re missing out big time!

I received a colorful flyer advertising specials and new additions to their menu. My first visit will not be the last. I ordered a crispy chicken salad and everything in it was good. I recommend their menu and the personal services they provide! My overall experience was, “I’ll be back”!

This was really some good soul food. It’s a great place to go anytime they’re open. It was extremely crowded but that must have meant that there was something good going on inside. Yes it was some of the best soul food that I’ve ever tasted. Keep up the good work. The staff was also very professional. The price was excellent for all you can eat.

Could be so much better. Over seasoned, it was extremely salty. Been twice and each time the same story. The price is great, the atmosphere is great and the staff is great. Unfortunately, no one is paying attention to the seasoning of the food. I had to drink water everytime I took a bite. I felt my blood pressure rising…salt is to bring out the food flavor. Stop overdoing the salt and let the flavor of the seafood come forth. My $0.02
