This is my first time stopping at this new location in Sanford NC. I’ve eaten at other Popeyes and had a wonderful experience. This one not so much. I ordered through the drive through and the employee serving the window was very sassy and displaying quite the attitude regarding our questions about the menu which has changed since I last ate at one. Definitely not displaying any hospitality whatsoever. The food arrived at a very favorable time and was delicious but they definitely need their employees to work on the courtesy side of the house.

Everything I go this this Popeyes each car ln line going through the drive thru has at least a 15 to 20 minute wait before their order can be taken, then you must pull around to the window for your total, then they are always out of something example biscuits well it’s part of the meal why am I paying the same price and no biscuits. Then the order is alway wrong. And service is poor. Who ever the owner is of this Popeyes needs to hire managers who are motivated and motivating, then those managers need to hire great workers willing to work and that are great listeners in order to avoid errors in customer orders. They need to make sure they wash hands properly as apose to coming from outside putting on gloves and preparing people food. Finally If the meal comes with biscuits and you don’t have any discount the meal for heavens sake. That is why I drove off and do not plan to return as others have said time and time again. For a new establishment it’s sad to see it fail.

My food was amazing! The chicken sandwiches were hot, spicy, and very big. I was in heaven! Absolutely delicious. I tried an apple pie too…VERY VERY GOOD! Service was great considering they just recently opened and are working their tails off. I hope people will continue to give them the benefit of the doubt and patience as they work through all the crazy busy new kinks

I’m unsure if it’s this Popeyes or this is a new thing, but the portions of all the Chicken Tenders was a third of what is normally given at other Popeyes restaurants. Was it just this restaurant? Perhaps I’ll never know because I won’t be coming back.

I ordered online and selected inside store pickup with a specific time. When I arrived, the store was locked and I was forced to get in the long and very slow drive thru. Appraantly, they are short staffed. So, ordering ahead was waste of time and defeated the entire purpose of me ordering online. When I got to the window, my order wasn’t ready (15 minutes past my specific time), they were out of mango lemonade, the employee at the window had “zero” customer service skills, and didn’t even offer to refund me the difference between the price of changing drinks. Then, he had the nerve to put a strawberry stained lid on my drink. Read the other reviews (I didn’t until after the fact) and you’ll be able to connect the dots….SMH

Only been here once and was disappointed. Ordered Shrimp Popcorn and it wasn’t really all too good and we had to wait a while even though there was only 2 people in front of us. When they first opened, people would line up around the building out into the Ollies Parking Lot and it was like that for a while, but now at most I see maybe 2 to 3 cars in line.

Out of some food, coleslaw tasted disgusting, no sauce given when they asked what kind, no receipt (but spent $36), food just terrible! Chicken was flimsy, fries soggy. Really hope I don’t get food poisoning. Biscuits are probably the only thing going for them. NEVER again will I go to this location. I’m quite angry!

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD! We stood at the counter for 10 mins no one ever said a word to us! Manager running the window looked over at us over and over again and never said anything. I work in the food industry a simple “hey we will be right with you.” Goes a long way! We decided to leave, but before we did I asked if there was a manager in the building. I was so surprised to learn it was the employee eyeing us from the togo window. Her excuse was they have a busy drive thru.. when I walked out there was ONE car in the drive thru. Every time we try to eat here we get the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Corporate needs to send some experts in to get this place in shape.

The last 4 times I’ve been through the drive thru…. it’s been in the evening time 5-6 and I always get the same thing… original chicken sandwich with fries…and every time it’s as if it was cooked the day prior. Cold, stale and terrible. Despite the last 2 times me requesting it to be dropped fresh in the fryer… it NEVER IS. will not be returning to popeyes ever again. If you live in sanford I recommend bojangles or kfc for chicken sandwiches.

0/10 do NOT recommend. Seems like they’re running out of food. I ordered 6 piece ghost pepper COMBO and only received 4, I also thought combos come with an inside biscuit? well I didn’t receive it. My bf ordered Popeyes sandwich combo literally gave him a little bit of fries. When the girl was giving us our drinks he asked for a cup of ice. The cup wasn’t even filled half way with ice. Anyways this place needs to be shut down, idk who the manager is but they’re not running it properly. Employees have the worst attitudes. Just ghetto.
