Service is good, food is very good. Very creamy coleslaw, which we love, a little too much vinegar in it unfortunately. It overpowered the taste. Meat is perfection!! So good!!! Every kind, every time! Beans are very good. They were out of corn bread this trip so we’ll try that next time. Banana ice cream is incredible! This is one of our favorites when we’re in town. Go check them out!!!

Had lunch at Backwoods Smoke Shack yesterday and MAN we were not disappointed! Both had the Brisket Wrap WOW! So juicy & delicious! Hubs had loaded potato salad and I had broccoli salad-also delicious! Rustic atmosphere with some indoor seating, outside picnic tables and a screened area for dining. Toilets are porta potties but they were clean. We will be back for this delicious food!

Pretty good Barbecue Ribs and Brisket. Definitely a go to place for Barbecue. Not a very big place to eat indoors, only 5 tables. But there is a fair sized pavilion for outdoor dining. My first visit, but definitely not my last.

I’ve eaten here twice. Both times I brought friends. Each experience was a hit with the group. The prices are reasonable. Service is great. The food is served relatively quickly, is hot, and flavorful–perhaps a bit heavy of the salt.
