What can I say….I met Karen, the owner, and cook. She’s just simply amazing. Once you meet her and talk to her, you feel like you’ve known her your whole life. When you eat, her food is simply delicious. You can feel and taste the love she has for what she does. Her restaurant feels like at home, very friendly and inviting. This is my new, very favorite place to have breakfast. I can’t wait to try her lunch specials. Oh, and her pies are too die for….truly homemade from scratch crust and all. You must give it a try.

I’m going back soon. I would recommend this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Karen’s is referred to as breakfast kafe. Open Monday – Saturday 6AM -2PM and Sunday 7AM – 2PM. Karen makes it all bread, pie, soups, and your meal. The biggest problem with Karen’s is I can’t get back often enough.

$3.99 biscuits and gravy this morning. Yum yum. Homemade and fresh. Being from the south this breakfast measures right up there. Friendly staff and very attentive waitress with a full section. Food was delivered fast. Bathrooms and dining area very clean. On the list for a come back for lunch (homemade soup and pies) when visiting my uncle.Loved the OWLS.

When dinning with my family I really don’t appreciate the OWNER coming out and questioning why we sent back a SOUR meat burger and then being served another meal with HAIR in it. We come here so much and bring our extended family here but not anymore, what did Karen accomplish by being rude to my husband and I? You just lost business, a lot of it. She then went to the back where the other employees were asking who was going to “pay for the burger” that it wasn’t coming out of her pocket. Well how about you try it and when you are getting sick in the bathroom from food poisoning maybe that’ll humble you. I understand you raising your prices to accommodate inflation and we wanted to support you but the attitude didn’t need to come with it. She even made my daughter uncomfortable asking why she hadn’t ate her pancake yet, you’ve done this for years this isn’t good customer service. Do better. I hope this doesn’t happen to anymore families. Thankyou to the kind waitress you also deserve to be talked to better.

Monday the 15th restaurant was ok. Biscuits & gravy were sent back due to being cold, but after micro, was fine. 1 waitress. Today Wensday 08/17/2022. It was absolutely ridiculous. 2 waitresses. Same amount of customers. Waited app 49 minutes for bis & gravy. Cold again. Sent back. Came back cold again. Sent back cold again.Sent back barely warm. Just went ahead & ate . Had enough of incompetance. Surprised this place is even still.open. Some of the worst service I have ever had in my life. And then to boot. No apologize or even a thank u.I will never step foot in this place again.

Karen’s Cafe great small town atmosphere.Home cooked meals. I had the Shepard’s pie excellent followed by homemade mincemeat pie. My husband couldn’t decide so ordered two different slices mincemeat and chocolate peanut butter.
