OMG. This place is amazing! We had the 12 oz. ribeye that was cooked to perfection! The Gibson platter had fried catfish filets and hushpuppies that were to die for! And to end the meal we had blueberry cobbler (berries picked fresh this morning) and homemade vanilla ice cream! Who does that?? The salad dressings are delicious and from scratch! Staff and owners are so friendly! We dug in so fast the picture is not great….lol! It a bit out of the way but worth the ride. And if you come camping or fishing at Hamburg State Park it’s only 20 minutes away!! They’re open Thursday- Saturday 5-9. Sunday 11-2. Mr. Charles Lamb and his son are amazing in the kitchen. Mr. Lamb has worked security for Randy Owens of the group Alabama and Garth Brooks! A humble talented family!

A southern home converted to a welcoming eatery. Southern dishes that are flavorful and plentiful. Heritage House is a near perfect place to get to, to enjoy great, southern, hearty, fresh hand-prepared meals. If you’re traveling I-20, take the short detour south to Gibson, Ga and treat yourself. In the few minutes waiting for your order, browse the autographed photos of Country Music Greats that adorn the rooms. Spoiler alert- the owner is the private chef for the group “ALABAMA”! Bon appetite, y’all !

This is such a wonderful place to eat. Hostess, miss Ann, is charming and friendly. Love the famous pictures and the home style decore. Everytime i eat there it’s like visiting friends. Food is just plain great down home deliciousness! Highly recommended.

Nice people, great atmosphere, wait staff friendly. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is awful, tasteless, bland and disappointing. I sent it back and no one offered another option. I paid for a meal I could not eat.
