Came in to town from out of state. I have been here many times throughout the years while it was different restaurants. First time here for this restaurant. We were pleased. The wait staff was good. The food we ordered was really good. I had no complaints. I’m sure we will go back in the future.

An absolute charm for a small town Bar & Grill. We sat at the outside canal-side dining area. A great shaded area with a wonderful breeze for a warm day. Sitting water level for a beautiful view of the canal, wildlife, and passing boats. The bar inside is quite inviting. Our waitress/bar tender, Natasha, was one reason our stay was so wonderful. Very nice, attentive, quick, and happy girl. There wasn’t a soup for the day but we were offered a Buffalo chicken dip with chips. It was amazingly delicious, not too spicy but just enough! One of our meals was “The Godfather” sandwich of delicious slow roasted Italian shredded beef with provolone, sauteed onion, Italian cherry peppers on a garlic Ciabatta roll. Simply delicious and sooo tender! Our other meal was the classic Reuben sandwich of slowly cooked corned beef, Swiss, we left off the Sauerkraut, kept the 1000 Island dressing on toasted rye. Another great sandwich, so tender and moist. Delicious. Our stay was supurb and the view amazing! A great place for family, friends, or a great date. We were there during the day, but the patio lighting would make for a cool comfortable stay.

The shrimp tacos are extremely bland, The tortilla chips were crushed into small pieces (see photos), I picked the order up myself, and opened it immediately this wasn’t the result of a careless GrubHub driver.

Seated upstairs as they said downstairs was full. Service was terrible. Took 45 minutes to get appetizers (2 salads, a bowl of soup and pretzels) and I had to go downstairs to ask our bartender/waitress where they were. Literally the only customers were all at the bar drinking so if u want to drink u can come here but if u want to eat you will wait over an hour. The apps did taste good. But waiting an hour for food is ridiculous. Still dont even have our burgers. I think they are chasing the cows. Will not be coming back.

We went to The Custom House for the first time. Our waitress was excellent but the restaurant is poorly staffed. It took a long time for drinks and our dinner. Our meals were very good. We really enjoyed the duck wontons as our appetizer. A tenet in the attached apartment had a window air conditioner that sprayed us and our table twice. That was gross. They should take care of that asap.

After an hour of ordering the server said they didn’t have any fries, cheese dip, onion rings or meat for the nachos. It took an hour to figure that out? It’s a Saturday night and the sidewalk sale so whoever is managing isn’t smart enough to have extra food on deck? Come on people if you are running a restaurant do better than to waste people’s time and money. Will never go back. P.s please clean the dead flies out of the windows where people are sitting. Absolutely gross

First time there. Went there because Chicken French and Tempura Green Beans were on the menu. Come to find out I was looking at a picture of an old menu and those items were not currently offered. We ordered burgers and onion rings instead which were delicious. Hopefully those pictures will be deleted. Follow the link to the current menu. The waitress wasn’t very attentive and didn’t seem to want to be there. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the food is great tasting and reasonably priced. Whether you are a student attending the college, a local, or someone just passing through, this restaurant is great for a decent meal or a place to grab a drink.

We will not be returning. We’ve come here several times and the service and food are hit or miss. Food is different every time you order it. We like trivia so we keep coming back. The last straw was being given a pitcher of water for our table. We got to the bottom and there were multiple flies stuck to the bottom of the pitcher. When we told our server she acted unsurprised and said sorry and asked if we wanted anything else. Nope, all set.
