We came here on recommendations of our driver and were not disappointed. Food was delicious! I had the pork belly and it was crispy. I loved the sides served with it and it was a great value. Lots of food and I had enough to take home and eat the next day. My boyfriend got the beef soup which he loved. It was nice to support a local business in AC and way more affordable than most places. Customer service was fast and great. The menu was in Spanish and English which was a plus. Can’t wait to return!

Food Is excellent even beyond excellent !!! But the service is beyond horrible. My family and I waited 2 hours to be served during the wait no one came up to us to advise that they are under staffed or that there’s a delay in the kitchen. No one even came to check if we’re ok, if we may like something to drink or something to snack on. We didn’t even get what we ordered some orders were messed up. The thing that shocked me the most is the rudness and disrespect towards a customer. No apology firvthecdekay and as I was exiting the restaurant pushing my infant in the stroller neither the owner or the servant held the door for me they both came in front if me slamming the door almost in my face. Rudness and disrespect in this place is unbelievable. I never ever experienced anything like this before !!!!

El Rincón Catracho is a small restaurant where you can dine in and order out with great food but it does take about 40 minutes to an hour to receive your food. I came with a group of four and we ordered three orders of fried chicken with plantains and one order of fried fish that’s in the images below. There’s always a lot of movement with customers coming in and out to dine in and pick up their phone orders. It’s definitely a place I recommend for great Honduran cuisine but the atmosphere might not be for everyone. Take a look if your here in Atlantic City as you and your group won’t be disappointed!

So good food, but the lady near us was complaining about the color of the salsa, like who gives a danm about the color of the salsa. Don’t listen to these people who just complain about the simple things.

The baleados and empanadas are amazing. I had the green plantains and fried chicken which was delicious but definitely made to share. Great fried chicken. Service is efficient. Cozy and casual.

I gave this place a 3 and not a 5 because although the food was good, the service was not. I understand that they are understaffed, but there is no reason why people should wait for almost 2 hours for their food. The owner has a small note at the tables explaining that it will take 35 to 40 mins for the food to arrive, but I ordered a simple breakfast that should have come out quickly.

On our weekend trip to Atlantic City, NJ we decided to check out this Honduran spot, as my family is from Honduras. We noticed the sign on the door stating longer than normal wait time due to short staff, not a problem. We are seated and have our order taken. About 45 min pass, and two out of four plates arrive. We wait some more, and one more plate arrives. We’re almost all done eating, except for the last plate we are waiting on. I ask the waitress when the last plate is coming and she looked clueless. We regret having gone here. The owner was more worried about watching a soccer game than making sure the ONE family in the restaurant is taken care of. They worry more about their phone orders than the guests dining in. Not to mention their kids are running in and out of the kitchen, which is not professional or sanitary whatsoever. If you’re hungry, grab take out. You’ll have that much faster than by the time you get your food. If they even remember what you’re waiting on.

Quant little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Food was great. I ordered the chicken tacos. A different style prevalent to Honduras. Crispy exterior with a succulent interior of chicken, herbs, and vegetables. This is the fourth time I have been. Consistent quality of product and service.
