Date night tonight! We were welcomed as we walked in and got to choose our seat. Service was great and the restaurant was really clean and stylish. We ordered the Trio appetizer, Catfish dinner, Grilled shrimp and pecan pie. We really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return.

Definitely worth the stop! The service was attentive and friendly. Owner stopped by to thank us for coming in. The food was even better than the service. I got the steak and cheese sub and the meat was seasoned perfect with just enough juiciness so as not to make the bun soggy and to keep it from needing extra condiments. Husband got the beef and bird and raves about that. Must try! Forgot to take a picture before hand.

Second time at this location food was ok but didn’t receive everything I ordered and waitress was inexperienced. Before leaving restaurant I spoke with another waitress explaining to her improvements that she could share with the inexperienced waitress to improve her skills and customer experience.

Wonderful spot to grab some good in house made food. The chef came out and greeted us, the server, Mary was so knowledgeable and friendly. I had the ribs and to say they are amazing is an understatement. Fall off the bone and delicious. My wife had the ribs eye and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned lightly to showcase the flavor of the beef. If you happen to be driving through Keysville make this a must for lunch or dinner.

We were road tripping and looking for a quick bite, but not fast food. I Googled places on our path and Magnolia showed up. Upon parking, we lowered our expectations – it’s underwhelming from the outside. But inside that all changed. The chef greeted us. Yes, the chef. Our waitress was attentive and polite, without being saccharin. And the food was delicious. It was my third shrimp wrap in three days and it was the best of the bunch. My significant other had the catfish dinner. He’s southern born so he knows catfish. It more than passed muster. We don’t eat meat, but tables around us were making love to ribs. We were there during lunch, but it’s worth noting that it seemed like a really nice spot for drinks and dinner. They have live music and a cool bar scene – lucky for the locals.
