Love this place! A breakfast/lunch restaurant on Main Street in Bethel, VT. The menu is posted on the chalkboard as you walk in, you give your order at the counter, help yourself to coffee or grab a drink from the cooler, then go find a table in one of the three adjoining rooms. The food is delicious and the service prompt and friendly. Did I mention that this is also a wine shop? You can’t drink alcohol on the premises but you can purchase a bottle (or two) to take with you.

Very enjoyable home cooked breakfast at a cozy table overlooking the river, railroad bridge and waterfall in the small Vermont town of Bethel. Super friendly owner who made and served our breakfast with reasonable prices. Great for a quick stop along the route along Route 107 between 89 and Rutland.

SO glad we stopped here on our way home after our GPS rerouted us in a different direction from Warren. Sandwiches melted in our mouths with all the right flavors in every bite. Fries were hot, delicious, and perfectly cooked and salted. I almost scooped more sammies for the road but I was afraid they wouldn’t make it across the street to the car…

Stopped in while on the road. Delicious hearty sandwiches made of fresh ingredients. Sat in the quaint room surrounded by so many choices of wines for sale that were reasonably priced. Had to pick up a warm chocolate chip cookie for the road! Highly recommend!

Quintessential Vermont. Creative, delicious lunch options served by a friendly, welcoming couple in an old space that ekes charm. Grab a bottle of wine while you’re there. A delight.

THE stop if you’re in the area and need a delicious, charming, local bite to eat or some great coffee. Happened upon this on a drive up to Montreal and was blown away.
