Burger and fries! I was looking for something good while passing through Wheatland. This place is not nice by any means, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I got just the basic burger with bacon and cheese cooked perfectly to medium. The menu was quite extensive, and I can’t speak for anything else. Check it out, Wyoming!

We were the only table in here, a table of 10 including six Boy Scouts and four adult leaders. The service was a little slow which was kind of surprising considering that we were the only people there, but the food was very good. Definitely a local dive that seems to have a bit of a popular following. The portions were pretty generous and the food was very good.

The quality of this ribeye is perfect. I have had steak as good as this but not better. I had the cowboy medium rare and could cut it with a spoon. For $30 this meal is a steal!

The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals. We had a variety – wings, pizza, gyoza, Mac n cheese…the chef even agreed to make my son a BLT even though it wasn’t on the menu. Our family of 7 was the only table for most of the time, right at lunchtime. I don’t know why this place wasn’t full!

They served me a raw hamburger. I thought at least the waitress would offer to take the charge for the burger off but she didn’t. I waited over 45 minutes for the raw burger at that so I certainly wasn’t going to wait another 45 mins for another one to be cooked. It’s ok though because Wheatland has plenty of other restaurants.

The waitress was very unkind and had a pretty nasty attitude. I bought chili and it should have came with cheese and crackers but they charged me a dollar for a tiny cup of shredded cheese. My hamburger was not cooked thoroughly and when I brought this up I was told that’s just the way that they do it… I understand we all have bad days sometimes and I’m willing to give it another try but we will see….
