Got some dinner at these Zaxby’s, haven’t been to this particular one before. I will say the layout of this Zaxby’s is a little weird with where everything is, it’s alright though. It wasn’t too busy at all when I went at around 5pm. Though overall the food was good, not steaming hot but not bad. You get what you would usually expect from a Zaxby’s I think. So not too bad.

This is my favorite Zaxby’s in the area. Safe location. Great small-town feel and welcoming atmosphere. Good teen hangout spot. Drive-thru service is always quick and easy, and the food is prepared accurately just about every single time. Friendly service. Lots of promotions, including receipt survey codes for BOGO offers.

The portion size is much smaller than in the past. The chicken strips appeared to be cooked in old oil.

When ordering thru the app you can’t order the same as if in store. I called to address the issues. Thank you Zach for taking my call and making things right.

Zaxby’s was founded in 1990 by two childhood friends, Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley, in Statesboro, Georgia. The idea for the restaurant originated when Zach and Tony were in college and missed the delicious chicken fingers they enjoyed growing up. Realizing there was a lack of quick-service restaurants specializing in chicken fingers and wings, they decided to launch their own. Zach’s father provided $35,000 in startup funding, allowing them to open the first Zaxby’s in a converted car dealership in Statesboro. Focusing on high-quality chicken fingers, wings and signature sauces, the restaurant quickly gained popularity with college students. Zaxby’s began expanding across the South through franchising in 1996. The brand stood out with its irreverent advertising and fun, casual vibe. By 2000, Zaxby’s had 100 locations and became known for its craveable chicken and hospitable service. The company continued its rapid growth over the next two decades, opening its 600th restaurant in 2018. From humble beginnings in a small Georgia town, the childhood friends built Zaxby’s into one of the most prominent fast-casual chains in the Southeast through franchising and a dedication to “fanatical” customer service.

I wish all Zaxby’s could be like this one! But they all don’t have a “Connie”!

The drive thru was busy but moved quickly. I like the chicken wings and my mom likes the fingers.

Best zaxbys I have had in a long time. Food was hot and they were quick and efficient.

Could not get employees attention, was not spoken to at all for over 5 mins even though there was no line and then was treated like my presence was an annoyance.

I don’t really like their chicken. It was grizzly and over cooked. I have heard others say the same thing.
