Best South of the border cuisine we’ve had since being in Texas! They serve fried corn cakes instead of chips; they come with 2 of the most delicious salsas we’ve ever had. The orange salsa was phenomenal. We then got the chorizo queso with fresh tortialls. The cheese is not fake queso; its real white cheese with chorizo that has just the perfect amount of heat. I got the quesabirrias. They were fresh, crisp and delicious and come with the red sauce they cook the meat in. My husband got the tacos de shortribs. So flavorful, tender, crunchy. Gauc was perfect. The beans come in a soup bowl. Not your traditional refried beans and I seriously could have just made a meal out of them. They had so much flavor with smoked sausage and the beans were so tender in this delicious broth. Mmmm highly recommend trying it! Once they get their liquor license this place will have a line around the block. Also the sparkling lemonade was to die for! Got 1 to go! 10/10 would recommend!

As someone who has lived in Mexico, is Mexican American and has Mexican family, this is as legitimate as Mexican food as it gets. They offer amazing spicy sauces and spicy food as well as mild food options those who do not enjoy spicy foods can love. I am always incredibly happy to eat here (have come here about 10 times this year and never regretted it!

This is a breathe of fresh air. Not your dime a dozen Tex-Mex food restaurant. This authentic Mexican food. If you walked into a restaurant in Mexico and walked into this place the menu would reflect items served in Mexico not United states or Texas. Be prepared to try something different and don’t be scared to try the grilled beets with ricotta, these were different and amazing. The marriage of flavors complimented each other and the unique grilled beet flavor was very enjoyable. They do not serve your typical chips and salsa but rather Cornbread discs with three different salsas. They served a chipotle salsa, one that was grilled, and another one as well. The entrée I had was the carnitas and it was served with fresh guacamole, Charro beans, and Pico de Gallo. The carnitas were tender and the Guacamole and Pico were fresh and not premade and browning from age or translucent onions or tomatoes. The restaurant was clean, tables, floor, and counter space. The prices were a little higher than usual but remember this is not your usual food. Try it, you will not be disappointed. I definitely will go back.

This new place has truly the best sushi i have had in years!! Short rib tacos and quesabirrias are amazing too. This is my second time here and every single dish I’ve tried is delicious. They have live music on Thursdays and karaoke nights on fridays. Definitely your next stop for a very good experience in every way.

This is a real mexican restaurant, real mexican food. Do not expect enchiladas with cheese and graivy, you will not find none of that here. Real authentic mexican food. Restaurant is nice and clean. Limonada con agua mineral is the best of the best.

I stopped by this new Mexican place and I’m happy that I did. Their food is from different regions of Mexico. I had the Tacos de Shortrib (I ate one before I took the photo. It comes with 3.) which are really mini quesadillas similar to Birria and the meat is amazing! I also tried the Tacos Goberbador which are served on blue corn tortillas with shrimp and melted cheese. Their salsas are fresh and the red one is spicy but delicious. Can’t wait to come back to try some of their other dishes!

Give it a One star very very very horrible customer service. Not even organized on seating people. Very rude and unfair . Me and my daughter waited 2 hours and still didn’t get seated and there was tables empty. They need to get some kind of organization on people who are there to drink only and not occupied the tables for people who want to go there and to eat like me and my daughter . For the majority people were just sitting and drinking if that was the case just open a dam bar not a restaurant. And get some kind of organization on seating people the right way . Never been so disappointed ☹️
