I don’t know about their other food, but their pizza is an absolute ripoff. 12 inch thin crust nothing special plain pepperoni pizza is $19 plus tax. It tastes like a burnt, cheap, frozen pizza. Huge mistake on our part ordering pizza.

Lakewood Local is a popular spot in Lees Summit to enjoy after work beverages and appetizers during happy hour! $3 domestic beer, $4 wells, $5 wine and half off select appetizers. They have flavored mojitos if beer, wine, or simple wells don’t float your boat. Make sure to try their chicken nachos…yum!

Ordered burgers. They were the best burgers we have had from a restaurant in a while. The patties they use melt in your mouth and the burgers won’t leave you feeling heavy after. The quality of the condiments were superb/fresh as well!

We visited this place on a sunday early afternoon and very happy with the selection of breakfast foods and brunch specials. They have a great bloody Mary and offer endless mimosas with a variety of juices. It’s a fun laid back atmosphere with friendly staff. They also have a small patio. Their patio is dog friendly. Good place to watch sports with there many large screen flat televisions.

stopped in the local tonight, a little after 5, the place was less than half full. Sat towards the back. Waited more than 5 minutes and got no service. Waitress walked past at least 3 times. Waited a few more then left. Nobody even said good by or have a nice evening. Went to Tiff N Jays where the service is always top notch.

Didn’t get what I ordered, server offered to have remade, just didn’t have time for that. Friendly staff, loud in there, definitely a neighborhood gathering place. My wife enjoyed her meal and would recommend.

My friends had arrived 10 minutes before me and already ordered water and 2 alcoholic drinks. They were told they would have to wait on water due to the kitchen had no clean glasses. I arrived at 10:43 AM and we didn’t get water until 11:30 AM. I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my Iced Chai Latte. My drink came in a plastic cup, so it shouldn’t have taken so long to receive it. I had the breakfast pizza and it came out slightly warm. I didn’t have to wait for it to cool before eating nor blow on it. It was slightly above room temperature. I opted to not return it to have them reheat simply because we had already been waiting long enough. My friend asked for pepper and didn’t receive until he was long done eating. I know a lot of places are short staffed and waitress really did try, however I am deducting 2 stars due to the dropping of the ball several times. I still gave the waitress a great tip since I knew she was trying her best. I’ll try the place again in the future and hope to be able to give more stars.
