I’ve been to The Lobbyist a couple of times, and this is one of the best in Memphis. It’s fine dining, the courses change from visit to visit as ingredients go in and out of season, and it’s very delicious. Portion sizes are good, the vegetables, for instance can be shared by the table. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is not too loud. The staff was also careful with a dietary restriction at the table. Well recommended. We had drinks, appetizer, vegetables, main courses, and a photogenic dessert to get the cost over $100 per with tip and tax.

The Lobbist is a very nice restaurant on South Main in downtown Memphis. Everything was excellent. Our favorite was the Corn Mash and Lamb Tamale.

The Lobbyist was absolutely perfect for our late Valentine’s Day celebration. The atmosphere is intimate, the food is exquisite, and the service is top notch! Our friendly server, Rachel?, could describe each dish down to almost every ingredient.

Sober friends rejoice! The Lobbyst is my new go-to for all things N/A and more. My friends and I dined there for my birthday and had the best experience. Moreover, we’re a hard group to please, with some of us having various dietary needs and restrictions (Alcohol-free/Vegan/Gluten-Free), and The Lobbyst didn’t disappoint. Not only did they have amazing mocktails (get the Passionflora!!!), but they carry Athletic Brewing beer and Fre champagne. As the birthday girl, I was thrilled to finally find a restaurant in Memphis that serves N/A champagne. Because I also adhere to a gluten-free diet I was pleased to find a multitude of suitable options available.

Went here for dinner on Saturday night. We sat outside on a beautiful patio. Service was really slow, but it didn’t look like they had a lot of people working. The drinks were great, recommend the French 75. Got the charcuterie board for two which was an impressive. The food was really good, but I had a hard time understanding what was being served based on the menu descriptions. Didn’t see a dessert menu, or was not asked if we wanted dessert, so I cannot comment on that. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, very well decorated and great ambience.

Wonderful experience! The food was absolutely great! Everything we ordered was perfect! I highly recommend the main entrees, especially the duck and pork! That was the best duck meal I’ve ever tasted! Kudos to the staff and chef!

This is sure to be a top restaurant in Memphis. The dishes are inventive without taking the eye of the fundamentals-the meats are tender and juicy, the vegetables are perfectly cooked. Cocktails were original and lovely. Service was on point-the server could answer any question about the menu and checked in with folks when it made sense to do so. Decor is modern but warm, not pretentious, just a really nice atmosphere. Loved it.

Really enjoyed the attentive service. The corn mash was outstanding as were the navy beans and my very favorite was gulf fish. Don’t sleep on the cocktails either!
