Finally timed it right driving through whem they were open. Worth it. Everything good. Mac & cheese was fantastic, and so is the BBQ sauce, and so is the sweet tea. Staff super friendly.

This is better than 90% of the BBQ you’ll find in East Texas. Every bit of flavor was there. Great smoke and a brilliant peppery bark on the ribs and brisket. There were a couple of negatives (slightly under cooked and a little chewy), but I promise the good definitely outweighs the bad. Don’t pass up a chance to try this BBQ!

Great place. I enjoyed my meal. Today was my first time. I came from Alabama. I was not disappointed with the food at all. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get more ribs. They were almost sold out and I got there 45min after they opened. I will return for another try.

We had the brisket, ribs, potato salad (no fries) and beans. I witnessed all the meat being warmed in a microwave. That was a red flag because they have a sign at the entrance that states basically don’t ask how long because the tastiness of their BBQ shouldn’t be rushed. None the less it wasn’t very good. I imagine people think this place is good because there’s no competition. Drive to Marshal and get Bodacious if you want good BBQ!! Their Rib plates will be worth the drive.

Always great! Never had anything from here that wasn’t delicious. Got brisket tonight he told me I would really like it because he tried something different. He wasn’t lying! It was so good! In my opinion the best bbq in the area no doubt! Love this place!

Best brisket in East Texas, hands down. Absolutely contends with the big boys in the hill country. Chuck is a fantastic dude and the staff is awesome. Get there early.
