I saw this place on Instagram a few months ago and wanted to try it out. My wife and I ordered 1 lb of beef brisket and a lb of beef ribs. The brisket was so tender and juicy. I loved the spices and honey added to the meat. The beef ribs were falling off the bone tender and also very flavorful. I loved the roasted potatoes, salad and rice included with your meal. The service was excellent. I loved the decor and ambiance of the place. I will definitely go back again to try the lamb products

Meat Moot smoking is excellent for special events and those who love meat. The brisket is some of the best I’ve had in Chicago and has a very rich flavor profile accompanied by a variety of seasonings and dipping sauces. The beef short rib is more filling than the brisket and thus I would order less of the short rib as you will get full more easily. Overall, the food and the ambience are excellent and the servers are always replacing your sauces and drinks whenever you need. Would definitely recommend this place for any meat lovers

The smoked beef ribs and smoked lamb ribs were decent, but not exceptional. The meat was tender and flavorful, but lacked the depth of flavor that I was expecting. The smokiness was present, but not as pronounced as I would have liked. However, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to refill drinks and check on our table, making sure we had everything we needed.

Finally went to this awesome restaurant today. The reviews are NOT lying. It was an amazing experience although there was a 25 minute wait, it was well worth the drive and waiting. We ordered the lamb shoulder and the guy at the counter and all the staff were super friendly and nice and were eagerly answering all of our questions. Excellent customer service. Awesome food. Definitely recommend it, if you’re in and around chicago you HAVE to try their smoked meats.
