TURKISH CUISINE IS THE BEST TURKISH RESTAURANT IN AMERICA NO QUESTION NO DOUBT. I am from Los Angeles, there to we have many Turkish restaurants. Very dirty and dusty. The thing they keep the to go menus in is covered in dust and grime. The chicken was good. The sheperards salad was terrible. All I could taste was mint leaves! I worked in a Turkish restaurant for many years and this was by far the worst shepherds salad I have ever had. I am always looking for Turkish food- guess I have to keep looking. Wasted my money – and it was expensive!

Just tried Turkish Cuisine for the first time this evening after a friend recommended the place to me. Looking at the restaurant from the outside it’s quite basic so I had my meal to go. I ordered the Mixed Grill and loved it. The meats were all nicely charr grilled with good seasoning and very very tasty. Also, the meat was tender and juicy. It was served with a salad, a minty yogurt, rice and some fresh Turkish bread. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely go back.

I was introduced to this place by one of my friends and have loved it ever since. For Easter I brought my family here for lunch and they all loved it. The owner is so kind and offered us free dessert as a warm welcome. The food is so delicious and tasty and so well seasoned. There’s beautiful artwork hung in the space and the lighting makes everything feel homey and safe. Truly a gem of White Plains.

I order very frequently from Turkish Cuisine. It’s become one of my go-to halal restaurants in the area. There’s a variety of options and all of them are great. I usually order chicken or lamb and beef gyros and the Iskender kebab. More recently, I’ve been trying the different salads with meat. The food is a bit pricey but the quantities are good and it’s always a satisfying meal.

In one word: amazing. I got the beef and lamb gyro platter. Unfortunately, the inside was closed for a private event. I ate it at one of the benches outside. It was soooo good that I just had to buy another platter for my flight out tomorrow. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.
