My breakfast was truly amazing. The cheesy potatoes and big bear breakfast was delicious. There were only two ladies working aside from the kitchen staff and to no fault of their own, the service was majorly slacking due to it.

I’ve eaten there several times and I really like the omelettes and sandwiches are good. The salads are good. The problem is that every time I go it seems like they are trying to get rid of you. They’ll be other people in there eating but they will be bringing you your check and your to go box and looking back-and-forth at you to be sure you’re leaving. I hadn’t been there but about an hour and hadn’t finished my food but they sat at the table next to me and one waiter just kept looking back like are you leaving and I said it says online that closes at two and she said well that’s wrong it’s 130 and I guess it was about 130 then . I just don’t go to any other restaurant and get treated that way and it’s kind of sad because I like the food. Also, they turned up the news so that I was having trouble hearing on the far side of the restaurant and I ask the waiter to turn it down but she said, can you hear it over there because I can’t hear it here. Just kinda not a nice ambience. Although one of the waiters is always nice.

Wonderful food with large portions. Favorites include the twisted meatloaf, the ruben, open face roast beef and chicken sandwich. Everything we have tried was really good. Save room for desserts; they are spectacular.

I should have taken pictures of our incredible food but we were too busy enjoying every last bite of it. Best breakfast ever. Never had sausage gravy that was so flavorful. Also never got grits and not needed to put something in them. Everything was so flavorful!! Also the hostess and waitress were amazing too!!

Enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinner at this lovely Cheshire Village restaurant. The ladies running the place keep things moving and popular items will sell out. Order the twisted chicken or the meatloaf…you’re tastebuds will thank you!

Great local tavern. Everything homemade and delicious. Lots of gorgeous desserts on display, although we didn’t try any. Other small shops nearby in the area and park area.

Our go-to breakfast place before camp every year. Breakfast is amazing, service is always friendly and cheerful and you can’t beat the food. Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is a must, so is the hot chocolate according to a 13yr old !

We came on Easter Sunday, 30 mins before they closed (we didn’t realize they were closing early that day). Regardless, restaurant staff was very kind and still let us sit down and eat! This is a very clean modern restaurant which appears to be locally family owned. Food was amazing and would definitely make the drive up the mountain to eat here again!

We were passing through and found this local place with pretty good reviews. It did not disappoint! Cassie and Lisa were awesome and super hospitable. I got the twisted chicken plate and could not have been happier with it! The only complaint I have is that this restaurant is 3 1/2 hours away!

We really enjoyed out experience here. All staff was very friendly and nice. We really liked the sitting outside. All the food came out fast and was really good. We also liked that it was located in a much more peaceful place than Asheville, so you could hear birds signing, enjoy your conversation and coffee
